I booked this hotel online after seeing the photos. Orange and colorful looking got my attention and to be honest, there are no serious flaws with this hotel, except:||||1. It’s inside a quiet but safe lane which gets even quieter at night. ||2. There are hardly any multi-cuisine eating joints around. Only hardcore Chinese eateries where the menu does not have one word written in English. ||3. Speaking of English, the staffs at the hotel hardly speak any so unless you speak mandarin, communicating with them involves a lot of hand gestures and signs. Could get tiresome and frustrating. ||4. There is no restaurant within the hotel. Only a small cafeteria from where you can buy chips, colas etc. So if you get hungry at night, gods help you!||5. For 10 Yuan, you can have their breakfast which consists of one sandwich, a boiled egg and a glass of milk. Nothing even remotely fancy. ||6. Lastly, the area of Wangjing is a residential one so it’s very quiet and the nearest busy shopping mall is 20 minutes by foot. Unless you have work within the area, it can get boring at night with nothing to do. ||||All said and done, Orange Hotel is a simple and affordable choice for any traveller. The staff is helpful, polite and will try to make you as comfortable as possible. Just ||Make sure you carry snacks along with you for midnight...
