Shangri La Hotel Fuzhou — Hotel in Fuzhou City

We stayed at the Shangri La Fuzhou totaling 13 nights during a trip in January and February 2025. This trip marks more than 10 years of stays at the hotel and we continue to be impressed by the property and staff. ||The recently completed mall adjacent to the hotel is a great addition with lots of new dining and entertainment options accessible without leaving the comfort of the hotel. The Buds play area for kids was a game changer for visiting families. There is also a new playground outside that provides even more space for play. | ||Thanks for Eric for making sure our family had the space we needed. Friendly exchanges with Nora got us great advice on ideas to explore the city. Barry was helpful from before we got to the hotel ensuring we arrived in comfort and organized a car seat for our daughter to ensure that we were safe as well. Alina in the Horizon Club was a valuable resource for planning our trip on the fly and was always available to help answer questions. Emma and Lina were friendly faces in the Horizon Club and made sure we always had what we needed and kept our daughter entertained. The staff at this hotel sets it apart from others and is deserving of praise and recognition. ||The new restaurant Jiangnan Wok · Rong is well deserving of the Michelin star it received and was an impressive meal in a beautiful space with staff equally attentive as in the hotel. Jiangnan Wok · Rong Social offered a more casual option with great food. Breakfast and Happy Hour in the Horizon Lounge were very convenient. The Chinese soup offered every evening was a favorite. There is also a food court in the mall where you can find numerous dining options including a small fruit market. Spacious Rooms: The rooms are impressively large, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. The layout is comfortable, and the beds are cozy, ensuring a good night’s sleep.
