“Excellent Stay with Friendly Staff – Just a Small Suggestion for Improvement”I recently stayed at the Boardman Hotel in Guangzhou and wanted to share my experience. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay.Firstly, I would like to commend two staff members for their exceptional service. Mr. Liang, who works the night shift, and Ms. LaijiaLing, who works during the day, were both incredibly helpful and always smiling. Their positive attitude and friendly demeanor helped reduce any issues and made the stay more comfortable. I truly believe that their professionalism and kindness make a big difference in guest satisfaction.However, I would like to suggest one area for improvement. During breakfast in the hotel restaurant, I noticed that one female staff member spoke quite loudly and even shouted at times, which disturbed the peaceful atmosphere. I advise that all staff be reminded to speak respectfully and calmly, especially in guest areas. This would help ensure a more relaxing environment for everyone.The hotel’s cleanliness and location were excellent. It is situated in a prime area with easy access to public transportation, just a minute’s walk from the metro. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with no unpleasant smells or disturbances.Overall, I highly recommend the Boardman Hotel for its cleanliness, helpful staff, and convenient location. With just a little attention to communication tone and consistency in staff behavior, it can provide an even better experience...

Can't say bad but definitely can't say good. I don't find it appealing like in photos uploaded in Trip.com. Old property, moderately managed, housekeeping is average, you may get clean towels with small holes, may be due to being old and regular machine wash, breakfast is moderate. I AM NOT AWARE IF IT'S LOCAL RULE, BUT CITIZENS FROM SEVERAL COUNTRIES NEED TO VISIT LOCAL POLICE STATION AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE FOR PASSPORT VERIFICATION AND PHOTO ON THE DAY OF CHECK-IN. Have never seen or heard anything like this aywhere in China or any other country I visited. Anywhere in China, I saw systems are exceptionally developed which I can't compare with any other place, but this hackle has made me feel very bad. So, if I happen to visit again then I will definitely not come here and will stay in other areas, last year I stayed in Haizhu Sq and there was no such requirement to visit Police station and public transport is exceptional in China and cheap, so it's not at all a problem to stay at some...

I stayed here from 19/12 - 23/12, overall it was a pleasant experience. When I first booked it, it was for the location as it was near the metro station and opposite the hotel is a supermarket, similar to Giant at Tampines if you know. There were a lot of food places near the hotel but if you're lazy to go, just order delivery lol. The staff here are friendly, efficient and welcoming. The cleanliness of the hotel room is good, except the bathroom may be a little too old? I think it's fine to be honest, not that I mind it a lot. Plus point! Their laundry room is quite nice, they provide detergent powder, liquid detergent. They have dryer and the washing machine, you can also hang dry if you don't like dryer. The only thing that I have to complain is that the hotel location is not the most ideal for ordering cars or taking taxis but once you are used to Guangzhou, it shouldn't be a problem. Overall, pleasant stay and will come back again if I visit...
