The East Hotel Hangzhou — Hotel in Hangzhou City

My husband and I stayed at The East Hotel in Hangzhou for 3 nights.  The rooms were large and very quiet (we were on the top floor, floor 10, having requested a high room, just in case there had been a lot of traffic noise).  The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly.  The mini bar was free and replenished everyday (soft drinks, beer and water).  Breakfast was also very nice, a mix of buffet and a choice from the menu as well (the mix was Western and Asian).  The Hangzhou shrimp breakfast was excellent; a broth with shrimp, noodles and vegetables,  accompanied by two separate dumplings and a local flat wrap filled with vegetables.  Very tasty, very filling and very well presented.  In fact all breakfast dishes were well presented.  The area the hotel is located in was about a one hour walk to the lake and city centre, which was fine for us; but if you don't enjoy walking, then you could take a taxi or a bus.  Around the hotel there were plenty of places to eat and also lots of bakeries, fruit shops and coffee shops.  In fact on the same road as the hotel walking towards to city (opposite side of the road) was a superb very small coffee shop called something like "Sensory".  The guy took great pains over his coffee and you even had the choice of about 6 beans.    If you don't want to be surrounded by lots of other tourists and feel like you are in more of a local area, then we highly...

I like to thanks to All front desk and Managers for their excellent services during ours stay. ||It's hard to find all staffs are always smile in China, you know what i mean if you often visit china 😉||Nice lobby and nice ladies / gentlemen since ours first steps in to The East Hangzhou Hotel ||Spacious rooms with complete amenities and very relaxing - aromatherapy shower kits |Perfect room size and seperate bathroom within toilet |Very clean and comfortable double beds in queens size, amazing ||Wifi works very well with auto reconnection ||Unforgettable the gorgeous bike rent for free. Peoples are looking at us and sometimes stop us only for take picture of ours bike 😁||Location is little far from West Lake but we are happy biking to West Lake and Hefang Old Streets enjoy views plus exercise ||The lobby provides free hot and cold drinks such as coffe tea and cookies, also water bottles to take away, hardly find this service in other hotel's ||Special thanks to two gentlemen who try very hard in helping us during rush hour traffic and we were late for ours high speed train, because of them we can make it on time ||My suggestion for management please re install all lightning in the rooms, its too dim...i definitely like to come back again ||Highly recommended for all type of travelers |Watch my YouTube videos to know more about this hotel...

In rapporto al prezzo pagato è un hotel realmente straordinario. ||La posizione direi che è l'unico aspetto lievemente negativo ma risolvibilissimo di questo albergo. Si trova in una zona anonima della città , non è propriamente vicino al Western Lake, ma con una corsa economica in taxi ci si arriva comodamente. L'hotel fornisce regolarmente anche servizio di auto con autista. ||La costruzione e lo stile sono molto contemporanei. Si viene accolti da un buonissimo profumo d'essenza sin dal primo ingresso in hotel, l'atmosfera è rilassata e le luci soffuse, la hall sembra quasi un ampissimo soggiorno di casa con tanto di coperte di Hermes appoggiate con non-chalance sui divani. ||Il personale della reception è spettacolare. Sono gentili, sorridenti, affabili, disponibili ed estremamente collaborativi. Ci hanno aiutato a risolvere un problema che avevamo causato noi con la prenotazione e in 29 anni di professione quale agente di viaggi non mi è mai capitato che mi venisse offerta la soluzione al problema prima ancora che lo chiedessi. ||A piano terra è molto piacevole e rilassante fermarsi per un drink al bar oppure accedere alla zona lounge sui divani molto comodi. Lo stile dell'hotel è estremamente appagante, confortevole, avvolgente, caldo, quasi da atmosfera di casa. Lo stile è curato nei minimi particolari: le luci e il layout degli ascensori, persino l'atmosfera dei corridoi che conducono alle camere è avvolgente. ||Tanti particolari dell'arredo, tanti accessori sono veramente molto apprezzabili, quali ad esempio il maxi schermo alle spalle della reception che illustra il cambio delle stagioni attarverso un video molto suggestivo. ||Per il prezzo che abbiamo pagato a tariffa standard avevamo una camera, anzi direi una suite, MERAVIGLIOSA, ENORME con WI FI, anticamera, antibagno, bagno con doppio lavabo, vasca panoramica, wc separato, doccia enorme, vetrata luminosissima, materiali di pregio, studio separato con angolo soggiorno e scrivania, MINIBAR INCLUSO, dotazioni notevoli di acqua in camera e acqua a disposizione nella hall, prima colazione e inoltre l'hotel omaggia 2 corse in auto entro un certo kilometraggio, così abbiamo avuto anche l'autista in livrea per l'aeroporto come servizio gratuito e in una città trafficata come Hangzhou ciò è apprezzabilissimo. ||Io non conosco un altro albergo al mondo che per l'equivalente di 50€ offra i medesimi servizi. ||Il mio plauso a questo hotel è totale e il training che ha avuto questo staff è incredibile....
