Lijiang International Hotel — Hotel in Lijiang City

Room was big & clean with king size bed. Furnishing looks a bit jaded. Have various TV channels like Bloomberg & Channel News Asia (CNA), good for catching up with world happenings and events back home in English. ||||Wifi is available in the room which is quite fast. Can even access the hotel Wifi from across the opposite massage shop.||||Location is convenient with many shops and eateries within walking distance (1-2 minutes). Opposite hotel is a massage shop, good for a foot or body massage after all the walking during the tours. Its about 10 - 15 mins walk to Lijiang old town.||||Breakfast is catered more for local Chinese tourists group. No cold fresh milk to go along with flakes. They have sweetended hot milk more suitable for the instant oat rather than for corn flakes which get soggy. No black cofee as the coffee comes with milk. Don't understand why the hotel does not have cold fresh milk instead of sweetened hot milk. They have unsweetened soya milk but didn't tried. Rest is standard local fare like fried rice, noodles, fried veggy & eggs. ||||Definitely not international 5 stars hotel but local 5 stars. Would prefer House Boss Lijiang Resort Hotel, a small boutique hotel with 30 rooms which I stayed for the first 2 ntes in Lijiang. I would stay in this hotel only for the English...

The Narada Lijiang International has a pretentious and beautiful facade and entrance hall. The rooms are large and mostly comfortable, except that my bed was uncomfortably firm and the room was always cold. I had to ask for a potable heater. The room lighting system is complicated and difficult to use. The breakfast was very good, mostly Asian fare, but eggs were prepared to order, including a good omelet. ||There was very little English spoken, except for one very helpful manager. On our arrival, the hotel had no reservations for my traveling partner and I. There were rooms available although it took about an hour for us to be able to go to our rooms. The missing prepaid reservations was cleared up after several days. The hotel is well located, within walking distance of many shops and services and an easy walk to the Old Town area. All in all, the hotel is decent value but be prepared...

Pick up service is available at the high speed train station. We traveled from Shangarila. Check-in in the morning at 9:30 a.m. and get the room key to stay, no need to wait. And you can still eat breakfast that day. This is very satisfying.The room has 3 beds, 2 rooms, and 2 bathrooms. In the morning, you don't have to wait in line to use the bathroom with your children. The cleanliness of both the bathroom and bedroom is excellent.There is yogurt as well, souvenirs, lift and lotion. I really like it because it can be used right away because we come from Thailand, which is a hot weather area.The location is very good. Near the hotel there are many restaurants and both above ground and underground shopping. Walking to the ancient city of Lijiang is very close and very fun. Lijiang is a beautiful city that I came from. Many times already Recommend this hotel His employees are very helpful....
