Golden Eagle Summit Hotel — Hotel in Nanjing City

I highly recommend this hotel. Firstly the swimming pool is the best hotel swimming pool I've ever used. It is long, easily 20-25 metres and also wide, but shallow with no deep water. Perfect for relaxing lap swimming. And it is always supervised. One tip. You'll have to wear a swimming cap which they sell at the front desk of the swimming pool, so make sure you bring something to pay for it on your first swim.Secondly, the hotel's location (on top of the Zhuzhianglu metro station) is perfect for getting to all the best places and attractions. And on cold days and hot days you can access the metro (press -2 in the lift) without having to deal with the weather.Thirdly, the staff are amazing. Rachel, Brittany, William, Allen, could not do enough to help me during my stay.Lastly, the shops and restaurants in the two basement levels offer a level of convenience that I have not received anywhere else that I have stayed. Had a great experience at Golden Eagle Summit hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the Nanjing Confucius Temple and it’s near the Qinhuai River Scenic Area. I would recommend this hotel to any international traveler, as the staff is friendly and very accommodating. We didn’t encounter any difficulties regarding check-in or check-out and our deposit was refunded within an hour of check out. Costa Coffee is situated just outside the hotel entrance, as well as a 7-Eleven convenient store. We will definitely visit Nanjing again, and for sure stay at Golden Eagle...

Stayed here in October 2022. Most of the reviews are quite old, so here is an update.

Location: couldn’t be better. Connected to the Metro, many restaurants just within one minute walking distance. Costa Coffee on the first floor. Walking distance to all the major shopping malls.

Staff: Speaks english and handled everything professionally.

Room: Spacious and very clean. Even tho the hotel is located in the centre of the city, the rooms are extremely quiet and also dark, which is a huge bonus if sleep is...
