Jin Jiang Hua Ting Hotel & Towers — Hotel in Shanghai

A ZERO star rating on the room! Cigarette smoke coming in via air conditioning vent in non smoking room had to get them to open room window to remove smoke. Was happening for several nights and they didn't do anything about not even transferring to another room. Had to call them twice to close window due to cold winter weather. Poor air conditioning in the room as in too hot and stuffy Bathroom door squicky needed oil in door ninges, had told them about it. Did nothing to fix problem. Stayed for 10 nights, had to ask for hand soap to be delivered. The TV channels are Chinese and no international channels with english. There was no music channel. The Wi-Fi was ordinary not high speed and would buffer with latency issues every 10mins depending on time of day you are using it, peak time poor and off peak average. The hot water and bed okay. The glass fronted lift didn't work for 10 days out of service.. Happy hour at lobby for drinks they kept over charging forgot to give discount. The porter didnt take our bages up to our room. The Chinese restaurant top floor gets a star need an extra iPad it was annoying sharing one over a group booking or two people. Just go back having a table menu. Food and table service good. The main gym not temporary gym and swimming pool was under renovation they didnt mention that when booking online. The question is would I stay there again? Yes if they address the above...

The beds are very comfy and the room was spacious. I was on the eighth floor and my room faced the backside of the hotel. Room cleaning does a great job. There is a kettle with black and green tea and coffee. Also there's 1L of complimentary water per day.

The breakfast buffet is huge and there's a lot of choices. Japanese, Chinese, Pasta, Continental, Danish Baked Goods.

The cooked food i hat was very oily and mostly cold. I don't know if it's supposed to be like that. (Cooked dishes to be served cold at a buffet) Which made me skip breakfast 3 out of 6 times.

Most of the staff speaks english very well for china. Although they messed up my room service order once and i ended up paying and eating the wrong dish which was not very good. Room Service Communication was horrible. Neither the server nor the room service phone line were proficient in english.

There are latenight streetfood stalls and restaurants if you walk to the left from the hotel for about 3 minutes.

The metro is just outside the door and access to every place imaginable is given.

The Spa is great. Has a 40 degree pool which is amazing to relax. Although the Whole spa area is a little dated - it doesn't matter when you're in the water.

For work trips this hotel is perfect. It has everything you really need and beyond.

For leisure i would definitely choose a...

First, the location is wrong. The hotel is not here. It's located at No.7 Exit of Shanghai indoor stadium station. Room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was good also.

But, I think the price was too high compared to the quality.

And the reception man on the tower floor, well... he works really slow. I saw two guest complained to him about his slow work speed. And he might think he can speak English, but he is not. Next time, If guest request twin bed room, just give twin bed room. Do not say twin-size bed room....Twin-size means size literally,...
