After almost half year and back to the hotel again to stay, I can see and feel that there are so many areas maintained and even improved to making your guests a better stay, such as 1/ Chairs in the Executive Lounge are all changed to a new look; 2/ BLD restaurant has added fruit peeling service and Be seated & Vacancy cards; 3/ Overall Service has still keep a relatively high level and don’t lose to other Shanghai hotels, such as JW Marquis, W, etc. It can be the benchmark of same level’s Marriott hotels in Shanghai; 4/ Hotel maintained very well and can be seen a hotel which opened within 5 years.
Shining point 1
When I entered into Executive Lounge, Dennis & Cindy can still remember my surname and even can recognize my family. That’s a very good experience that making us feel back home. Even new employees or interns are very active in helping. And I can always see their smile on their face. I think it’s not easy to do like this especially today. Except that, I can also see clean and tidy in the Executive Lounge, it’s quite good. It can be seen that the management team of Lounge is careful, serious and really do things in person.
Shining point 2
Staffs of BLD are all positive, especially restaurant manager (I am not sure he is or not, with a blazer, and Taiwanese intonation) and Mike. You can see that they are really providing proactive service to every guest and asking their needs. And also Mike’s service are very detailed. (It can be the example of service in the hotel.)
Shining point 3
Staff from customer service in the hotel who is responsible for App chat is very helpful, fast response speed and can communicate with empathy. If she need communicate with you, she will call you back mediately. (Sorry! I don’t know her name.) But I think it’s a good experience and wanna say thank you to her.
Just 1 suggestion, I can understand that hanger was redesigned to be stolen, but it’s really inconvenient when hanging cloths, especially washing clothes. (Before I just heard some news about it from Marriott collègues, but now I actually experience.) I think Ayi can check the hanger no. before guest check in and check out. It’s better to have your guests a better experience.
Many thanks to all...
