Atours Hotel Shenzhen — Hotel in Shenzhen

hiya, just got back from china and spent 3 weeks travelling to 4 citys and staying in 4 hotels. on the whole the hotels were decent enough. i have no complaints. however i do feel compelled to comment on one hotel in particular. this is the atour hotel chongqing jiefangbei raffles city riverview. let me start by saying that this was the cheapest of the four hotels but was by far the best. the room was good. large, clean and comfortable, ofcouse, this can be said for the others.| the hotels location was super. centrally located and a minites walk from metro and the breakfast was very nice too. once again, the other hotels were not bad either. |however, for me what set this hotel apart from the others were the staff. i am from the uk and am unable to speak the language. this did not phase the staff, indeed, they were full of enthusiasm to help, led by the lady in charge, feebie who spoke some english. they made my stay there very pleasent and rememberable. the details of my stay are too long to comment but it was a humbling experience for me so to all the...

Stayed for 2 nights during business trip to Shenzhen.||Pluses:||- very nice totally new rooms in Scandinavian style. Cosy, big, well equipped;|- very good location. ||Minuses:|- not english friendly - don’t expect anyone speaking english, all amenities are in chinese as well;|- breakfast is really so-so... don’t expect much.... and I had terrible experience - all bread was super old and with fungus... |- rooms have tea bags and nice coffee bags.... but no cups..... just glass cups . How am I suppose to drink tea or coffee??... |- sound isolation is not best. Atour Hotel||overall score: 9.5/10||Location: wonderful! hotel is just located above “下沙" metro station. 福田 or 皇崗口岸 is the nearest boarder||breakfast: did not try||lobby: the “user friendly" lobby i have ever seen. need not too luxury, but what they provide help guest to kill time while waiting (book, tea, mac book ) ||Snack: free coke in room||Room: modern design, nice.
