Vienna Hotel — Hotel in Shenzhen

The hotel is fine and the people don't speak a word of English and could smile once in a while. Unless you love the sound of so called relaxing opera music every morning at 6am until 9 blasting out through the streets the smell of cigarette smoke and sweat and to top it off the sound of trigger happy car horn honking all NIGHT LONG (GOOD LUCK SLEEPING) this is the place for you. I was unable to move rooms and location due to times and booking so had to suffer this all week long it got to the point in the end I spent the last couple of nights camped out in the bathroom as it was more quite. I'm almost convinced that homeless people in London get more sleep than I did staying in this hotel as my room was Street view. Floor 16 😩😩😩😩😩. I've never felt so incredibly tired on holiday. Other than all of this it's quite central but I would rather book somewhere more quite and get a...

Was here for an extended business stay of almost 2 x weeks. Booked on an well known travel aggregator site, only to arrive at the hotel to find no one can speak or read english, meaning they could not check me in, and when I got a hold of my husband back in Australia in the middle of the night, he called them only to be told my booking did not exist...despite being paid for in full!||Fast forward about 30 minutes later and the site we booked through calls the hotel, only to have the same communication barriers and was later told that there is not much they can due until colleague arrives that is Chinese (and therefore speaks mandarin). Its now about 2 hours since I arrived and past midnight when I was allowed to check in after a long day of travel.||Room was meant to be non smoking, but clearly wasnt and they would not change my room, also dirty and a lack of cleaning.
