ANDU HOTEL — Hotel in Suzhou City

When I booked, I saw that this hotel had 10,000+ positive reviews and other hotels had many less reviews. So my fear is that they were made by AI or fake reviews. But having stayed for a week in June 2025. Here is my review. The hotel has everything. It is so hard to find a hotel with everything. This is mildly true. there are small scuffs on wall. Small and doesn't detract from the stay. The location is 15 min walk to shopping streets. Suzhou is flat so the walk is easyLine 1 metro is 12 min walk away There was some building noise due to a nearby shop doing some work, so we was offered an upgrade to a quieter room. This was nice and included a round bathtub. But even our standard smaller room had all the facilities and features listed aboveNew towels and such daily. Cleaned very well. Andu in terms of features and facilities is comparable to Mecure, ManXin, Hilton. Maybe those places have slightly nicer finishes of material but considering Andu is almost half the cost, having a small mark on a wall is fine. Especially as everything you touch, tables, towels, sofa, shower, bed, floor are always super clean. There are some general stores next door and the also sell fruit. Coffee shop opposite and a whole street of restaurants opposite. The design of the public areas is great. Many hotels cheap out on this but it shows a level of care that this place had which is nice. Rooms are designed well with chargibg points each side of the bed. Good lighting and blackout curtains In our smaller room, there was a smell when you step into the room.
