Tangla Hotel Tianjin — Hotel in Tianjin

One of the best hotel I've been to, ever! The rooms are clean and spacious, the staffs were super friendly and helpful, AND the location is fantastic!I love the bathtub - good hot soak in winter, and with a great view of the city below!!As this was the first hotel we stayed after landing in China (after 10 years), we had some trouble trying to setup all the local china apps which were necessities!We setup * and Wechat pay while in SG, then when we tried to use it here, both got blocked!We seek help at the counter and one of the staff, a young lady, was so helpful to bring us to a guest room beside, and helped to call the customer support of these 2 apps and speaking to them in local terms - we speak mandarin, but had challenges trying to describe "verification", error message we got, and how we don't have a local china number we can use here. Btw, do try to get a SIM with local number, almost every reservations and bookings they will ask for a local number here!Location : opposite, just crossing the overhead bridge is the hottest shopping street - 滨江道步行街. Turn right from the hotel entrance and walk 1 min, take the escalator up, cross over the other side, and it's the start of the shopping street! There's even a mall that can be entered right from the same overhead bridge!Oh there's a supermarket in this mall, very convenient to get fruits and replenish mineral waters. We fell in love with the sour milk "酸奶“ which is a mix between yogurt and milk.The must try food in the shopping street is the soufflé pancake! We tried all the flavors!The famous church in Tianjin is also just around the corner street behind the hotel - this one not my fav.The kids fell in love with a prata kind of 煎饼 which was their breakfast for 2 mornings! It's just 5 mins walk (out of the hotel door, turn right to the end).If you like beef noodles and spicy fish, there is a 李先生 just beside this - best beef noodles and best 酸菜鱼 we've tasted in this trip! Especially tasty in cold winter I'm guessing! We had this for breakfast in 2 mornings! Funny we didn't see this chain anymore in Beijing.If I come back to Tianjin, I'll definitely stay in...

we came into tianjiin train station, plenty of taxis available, but have to say...their knowledge not fantastic of where we needed to go; we got 2 taxis, due to luggage, and one taxi dropped friend of about half mile away from hotel, our taxi got us there, only because I recognised the street name, but dropped us off round back of hotel at what seemed to be staff entrance.. Anyway, once we got booked in, bellboy took me to my room, on the 41st floor.... well my breath was taken away when he opened the door, you looked straight over the room to the massive windows and the best view I have ever seen over the city. Once I got my breath back, I can honestly say the room was fantastic, massive bed, lovely sitting area with water and mini bar, bathroom had twin sinks, with dressing area, toilet area with fone... and then the best..bath/shower area with outlooks over the city...amazing. Only complaint was, I caught a glass on the tap of the shallow sink, left it for girl, was never picked up in the week and when we booked out I was charged £4.00 for the glass..would have been cheaper to go the shop and replace it.. other than that, staff amazing, hotel great..definetly...

51劳动节当天入住的。入住之前在携程看了下评价，可以说是惨不忍睹。有的说服务差，有的说卫生差，还有的说4月份没空调，太热。搞得我很忐忑，但实际体验来说，还是处于能够接受的范围之内。大部分服务都算到位，尤其是在天津这种木有服务业的城市。||先说优点，|1.到店Check In是14:10，定的是高层无烟大床房（豪华客房），当时4112房间还没准备好，在等待主管查房。前台的张经理让我先等一会，我就把行李放下出去转了转。大约14:30回来，房间还没准备好，张经理二话不说就帮忙免费升了房到4312的行政房。|2.至于行政房和豪华房的区别就是，行政客房有胶囊咖啡机！豪华房（据说）就木有！看其他网友评论，有人说升房到了行政房可以享受相应行政待遇（待遇具体详情见附图），我咨询酒店后明确：这纯粹是想多了！海航的免费升房是不送待遇的！|3.张经理给安排的12号房间的景色不错，是面向海河方向的，天气晴朗的情况下能够看到河边的St. Regis。阴天雾霾情况下，即便看不到河边，也能看到滨江道、南京路的景色。从这个角度俯瞰母校耀华中学也很有意思。|4.客房服务员在处理自己不知道的问题时候，说的是“我给您问一下”，而不是“我也不知道”。这在天津太稀罕了！服务员邵大姐很热情，在处理我房间的咖啡机故障时候，主动提出了再拿一台咖啡机试一下的解决方案。|5.胶囊咖啡机是法国的Malongo品牌，在国内很少见。酒店相应提供的咖啡饼，我查了查资料，对照了一下实物和网上图片，应该是“皇家珍藏咖啡”（白色包装）和“低咖啡因粉末状咖啡”（蓝色包装）。|6.洗浴的备品都是很精致的包装，浴袍手感不错，拖鞋也是与众不同。|7.浴缸很大，而且能看城市风景。|8.49层自助餐厅的早餐，服务很好，菜品也很丰盛！是酒店的顶层，看风景也不错。||然后说不足，长文慎入。|1.房间内，办公桌上有一部子母机电话，其中子机的Line...
