Qinghe Jinjiang International Hotel — Hotel in Zhangjiajie

We slept there for 6 Nights during our stay in Zhangjiajie. ||The hotel itself and the room we had were very luxurious, clean and spacious. Even with the crowds of tour groups in the hotel it wasn’t noisy in the room.||The breakfast was very good. Typical Chinese hotel breakfast, but a big selection of good quality. Because we are individual travelers, we were able to get up a bit later and it wasn’t crowded anymore, because most tour groups start early.||Some of the staff was able to speak some english, but many could not. But this is quite common in Chinese hotels and you can translate with your phone if you have any questions.||My wife had an accident and hurt her ankle during our stay. The hotel staff was very helpful for us, brought us breakfast to the room, gave us a wheelchair and a cooling spray. So we always felt well cared for.||One night we craved some pizza after two weeks of Chinese food, but ordering pizza is a bit complicated for a foreigner without a Chinese mobile number. We stayed in Room 649 for three nights from 14.10.18. The room was very spacious and had beautiful Mountain View. But the carpet was a bit worn out. The shower room was big enough but was not probably designed and done. The shower water would leak through the shower room door sill and spread to the bathroom open area. Apart from this, other parts of the room were very well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Jane who really took good care of us throughout our stay. Seeing us wet under the rain, she quickly arranged for two hot ginger tea delivered to our room. She also arranged fruits to our room everyday. We have stayed in numerous other five stars hotel all over the world, this is the first time we ever met such a friendly and kind staff like Jane. The hotel lobby was majestic. The breakfast was satisfactory. But the breakfast was closed too early at O9.30. I suggest it should at least open until 10.00. I will give a 10/10 for service and...
