The show combines musical masterpieces from across the 5 indigenous cultures of the area. It is beautiful, exhilarating and magical with it's unique songs, energetic stunning and comical acrobatics. They provided English translation for the performances and each performance selects 5 out of the 28 pieces that they have prepared, so each is unique. Definitely worth a visit on an evening to enjoy the local culture after a day in the mountains. We were not fans of the demonstration directly after, as it was VERY LOUD over the speakers and there was no translation for the calligraphy demonstration. Charming Xiangxi show is probably one of the most amazing things I've seen. In total they have 28 different performances with each show being just a handful of them. However the show is so beautiful, powerful, emotional and breathtaking. The skills or the performers are amazing and the choreography is as well. The show is split into an indoor and outdoor part. Although I wasn't able to watch the whole of the outdoor show due to heavy rain, what I did watch took my breathe away. The whole show is immersive with the whole of the theatre getting taken over.
