Wyndham Garden Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain — Hotel in Zhangjiajie

My stay at Wyndham Garden Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain was absolutely exceptional. I spent one night there while traveling from Shanghai, planning to take the cable car up to Tianmen Mountain.From the very beginning, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful. When it turned out that my power bank had been taken away at Shanghai airport (due to new regulations), the hotel immediately offered me a replacement charger. What’s more, someone from the staff actually bought a brand-new Huawei charger perfectly suited to my needs and delivered it to my room within half an hour. I didn’t have to arrange or look for anything – everything was taken care of, which was truly thoughtful.The room was even more beautiful than in the photos – a wonderful bathtub, great interior design, and a stylish décor that made me feel like I was in a fairy tale. It was an extremely comfortable place with a stunning view of the cable cars climbing up to Tianmen Mountain.What’s more, the staff were also very helpful in providing information and assisting with booking tickets for the cable car. Thanks to them, I saved a lot of time and stress. The entire team deserves the highest praise for their kindness and professionalism.In summary: this hotel is a real gem. I would definitely love to return and I wholeheartedly recommend it...

From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the room was spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed with modern amenities. The hotel’s location is perfect—close to stunning natural attractions like Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, yet peaceful enough to relax after a day of exploring. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of delicious local and international dishes, and the on-site facilities (including the gym and spa) were top-notch. What truly stood out was the outstanding hospitality. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always willing to help—whether with travel tips or special requests. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Enjoyed our stay but have a few suggestions for improvements :Breakfast spread was good, but empty dishes were slow to be replenishedRoom fittings were not too complete, eg. Lacking a laundry line, insufficient hooks for towels and clothes in the shower areaClearer instructions on the operation of the electronic controls in the room would be goodSmoking appeared to be permitted in rooms as an ash tray was provided. This was most upsetting, given we were allergic to cigarette smoke. Air purifier helped to clear the smell somewhat, but the bedlinens and pillows still smell. Obviously, the hotel could do better if smoking floors are separated from non-smoking floors strictly. *Supper offering was a nice gesture, but the food offered could be improved, eg.
