Hotel Libertad Plaza — Hotel in AMCO, Area Metropolitana Centro Occidente

I got my own private room with ensuite bathroom for only $40,000 COP a night ($20) and my friends (a couple) got a larger queen size room with ensuite and a mini fridge for around $60,000 a night ($30) . It may have been because high season just ended - not really sure - but what a lovely stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are small but cozy, have character, and each have a fan (you don't need AC). Free wifi throughout and most rooms have ensuite washrooms, and some have mini fridges. and you have the option of rooms without ensuite, but a shared bathroom and shower stalls instead. Claramente para la mayoría de personas que allí se hospedaron les fue muy bien, en nuestro caso, infortunadamente no fue así, en la habitación que nos íbamos a quedar, en el segundo piso,la encontramos prácticamente inundada, nos ubicaron en otra habitación en el primer piso en donde la tapa de la taza del baño está desajustada y el ventilador funciona a medias,además mucho ruido de personas hablando duro por los pasillos a eso de las 5:00 a.m., incluyendo que arrancan motos a esa hora, en la noche es peligroso , no hay luz en la cuadra, no hay desayuno, ni parqueadero cuando en las fotos aparecen logos que ratifican que sí hay,lo único que podemos resaltar son las personas que trabajan allí, la dueña y los demás empleados son muy amables y tratables.
