Ecohotel y Restaurante Juan Mau — Hotel in Bolívar

This place is not recommendable at all. No running water, no electricity, no Wi-Fi, noisy surrounding and unfriendly, just spanish-speaking staff. Cost us a lot of money and time with this "accommodation". Our stay on the Isla Grande got more or less a disaster because of this. The reviews on other booking websites are not real for sure. Probably got voted up from friends or other island inhabitants. The pictures don't correspond to the truth as well.

Stopped here for lunch one day and can't fault the food. Really tasty chicken and rice and the shrimp empanadas were so good! Reasonable price as well. The owners only speak Spanish because its a local place but it wasn't a problem and they were very pleasant...

Fantastic food. Ate here twice. I had the fish plate and then the pork. The people are great also.
