Terracota Hotel Boutique — Hotel in Guaduas

I recently stayed at Hotel Boutique Budapest (also known as Terracota Hotel Boutique) and had a mixed experience. The staff communicated well via the booking app, promptly messaging me about prepayment. When I explained I didn’t have access to pay ahead, they were understanding and flexible, which I appreciated. Upon arrival, check-in was smooth and the staff were welcoming. Beds were clean.

However, the facilities did not match the photos online. The rooms were in an older building with dated infrastructure, and while the bathroom was spacious, it was also quite old and had plumbing issues. The shower was not ideal. Despite the high price, air conditioning was not included. The owner did offer us free AC, but the unit was old and took hours to cool the room—which is a big deal in a hot town like Honda.

Another downside was the strong smell of Chinese food throughout the hotel, since there’s a restaurant attached. This was one of the most expensive hotels I stayed at during my road trip, but unfortunately, it offered the lowest value for the price. No tome la opción de desayuno con el hotel, definitivamente es muy costo el restaurante, no podría opinar del tema, en cuanto a las instalaciones son geniales, si es un hotel de paso es una muy buena opción en Honda, les cuento que la piscina es deliciosa y el agua limpia y aún esta tibia en la noche, te permiten disfrutar de la piscina hasta tardecito, tiene música y unos espacios delis para sentarte a departir con tu familia, las áreas sociales del hotel son muy agradables y aptas para unas fotos bonitas, no te imaginas que detrás de una fachada de hotel a borde de carretera se encuentra un estilo tan loft y agradable. El parqueo es muy pequeño pero tiene espacio cómodo para algunos autos.||Las habitaciones son amplias y agradables, aconsejo que le dejen en la parte antigua, si le ubican en el edificio sobre el restaurante, se encontrará mas cerca de la carretera y por ende podrá contabilizar cada tractomula que frena frente al hotel. Continuando con el tema habitaciones, la cama permite un descanso genial, es muy agradable, la presentación de las habitaciones son cautivadoras, el agua de las duchas sale tibia. Pero el baño no es muy moderno. Las toallas es mejor llevarlas, y es literal el termino "jabón Rechiquito". Pero no hay mejor placer que viajar con buena compañía y la piscina el confort de la cama lo mejoran todo. Me gustó y regresaría. Ojo una acotación antes que terminen de leerme, tenga presente entregar la habitación a las 12, de lo contrario tienen avisos comunicando el cobro adicional de $20.000.oo por cada hora adicional de tu check out.||Los precios del restaurante, lo cual se soluciona desplazándose a otros restaurantes lo cual abunda, al frente tienes droguería y "chelas" tres veces menor al valor del hotel. A very bright floodlight with no off switch is pointed directly at the rooms at night. The wifi does not reach the room. Buddha statues are strewn about alongside a clothing shop and a pool with a disco ball, the gate creaks loudly, the doorbell jarred me from sleep twice in my one night...
