Centro Hostel Medellín — Hotel in Medellín

I have mixed feelings about this hostel. On one hand the facilities are really nice and comfortable, on the other hand the workers were not so nice. I had originally made my reservation through Hostelworld for two nights and I was taking a late bus from Bucaramanga and arriving in Medellín after midnight, unfortunately there's not an option to notify arrival time and I tried to contact the hostel but the email registered on Hostelworld was invalid and got no answer on the telephone. When I arrived at 3am in the terminal and got internet I saw my reservation had been marked as no-show, I still went to the hostel and fortunately was able to check-in, but the guy that received us was super unfriendly, didn't apologise nor asked us anything, just put us at 3am to fill in formularies and pay.. the girl from the day shift that was preparing breakfast after was also super unfriendly didn't even really tell us how breakfast works or anything and looked always really annoyed whenever we'd ask something.. just the guy from this morning was nice and helpful but our whole experience was...

Such a lovely and relaxing hostel! The vibe here is super chill, and everyone staying was really calm and respectful, which made for a peaceful experience. The place was very clean, including the kitchen, which was a huge plus. Breakfast was also really good.

One of the best parts was the outdoor area—there’s a great balcony with hammocks, plus a huge hammock chill area, perfect for unwinding.

A couple of downsides: You always had to be buzzed in, which sometimes took a while. Also, the rooms were quite warm, but they do provide fans for each bed in the dorms, which helps.

Overall, if you're looking for a clean, laid-back place with a great atmosphere, this is a fantastic choice. Would...

NOISY - RUIDOSO - LAUT - BRUYANT . They have a big store next door with very loud music. They will not sleep well if they have bad sleep. They also open in the morning, it is not a specific thing
