Hotel Cafeira provides basic hotel services. The best thing about this hotel is its location in downtown Pereira… many attractions (like the four squares) are minutes away walking. There are several coffee shops near the hotel like Medio Oscuro … I also suggest visiting “Queso y Cafe” at Carrera 6 and Calle 21. The breakfast is very basic and consists of eggs, one piece of cheese, one type of fruits, coffee, piece of bread. This hotel is famous with groups as I saw groups/buses on every day of my stay … it was exciting to see many people but challenging as they all show up at same time to breakfast and I barely find a table to sit in. The service was average. The room has an air conditioner and my room was at the corner with views to the street and city. There are two towels only in washroom and each one of them is 1/2 or 1/3 the normal shower towel. No fridge. No safe. No coffee machine. This modern hotel located about 270 metres to Bolivar Plaza, and it's one of the main reason why we chose this place at first. The taxi cost 6,500COP from the terminal, and we arrived at the hotel just before 12 noon. Although the official check-in time was 3 pm, we didn't have a problem getting into our room early, and we're grateful for that.

Poor service and always understaffed do not stay here. Me quede en dos ocasiones en diferentes días la primera vez pregunte por un vaso de agua caliente dos de los receptionistas me aseguraron que la iban a llevar al cuarto Mauricio y Felipe pero el agua nunca llego yo estaba enferma y no podía bajar por ella. Lo vi como algo insignificante y la seguía da vez que me quede una semana después el cuarto no tenía cobijas NO TENÍA COBIJAS llame a la recepcionista y me aseguró que las iban a llevar al cuarto ni siquiera tomo el número del cuarto y se me hizo raro se lo comenté a mi mamá y me dijo seguro ellos pueden ver eso paso a las 10:30 a las 11:45 llamo otra vez para las cobijas y me dice que yo no le había pedido cobijas… 😱😱😱 que se disculpaba pero que estaba muy ocupada y que no podía Darme las cobijas que tenía que esperar y me colgó el teléfono .
