We were in Room 7, at the back of the small courtyard. A good sized room, with a small table, chair, double bed and TV plus private bathroom. The shower took the chill off the water, which was just enough to be pleasant. The room and bed was comfortable. No fan or AC. We arrived and stayed Sunday night, so not much traffic during the day, but trains started around 4am and were pretty noisy. The owners are friendly and will help you with your Spanish. Edwin the dog (stroke only gently) is cute. Breakfast was good coffee with Rice and Beans and Toast. If you feed the guard Aida cut your fingers off, if you open the door for a fellow traveller, you could be disemboweeled- breakfast incl., good,, world experienced world travellers to talk to. The coffee not that great and the pot hard to pour packaged sugar sucks and the creams lacking, but the price for safety as to location and lifestyle for basic honest God understanding curious people. Read moreI stayed here only 1 night because my other hostel was full, but it was wonderful nonetheless. The owner is very friendly and made sure that I was comfortable and happy. The room was basic but clean. The hotel is located just off the main road, but pretty close to the traintrack, so the train is pretty audible in the mornings and afternoons.||Breakfast is served in the adjecent soda. It was very nice and quite filling, so no need to go hungry before lunch time comes!||There is a nice patio that has sun pretty much all day, so a great spot for some reading...
