Parque Nacional — Attraction in Catedral

For 31 days I had seen a new type of bird every single day on my Costa Rica trip. I had 1 hour left before having to leave for the airport and I thought I'd try one park to find one bird that was new. Good trails/paths, all with concrete. A lot of squirrels along the path. If you aren't lucky enough to watch the crater just be patient, sometimes there are holes in the fog that allows you to see the crater for a few minutes, sometimes seconds. My advice, go first to the lagoon, if the lagoon is clear you need to get back to the main crater because, in a couple of minutes, the crater will be clear (if there is wind).
