First of all, Xinia and Gilbert are gems. They welcomed us in person and allowed us to roam their gardens and even use some of the produce for cooking! Their son, Emanuel, was very helpful in communicating and getting the place booked as well as making sure our stay was comfortable. Then there’s the actual land. The view is incredible, and Xinia has lovingly planted gardens, plants and flowers all across the land. They have placed a hammock and two wings under the ficus tree (which were a favorite for my kiddos). She even made sure we had a frisbee and soccer ball since she knew we were coming with kids. The cabin was immaculate and well-equipped and they even placed swan towels and flowers from their garden in the cabin. In conclusion, STAY HERE. It was just amazing and I wish we could have...

Great place to stay, it’s an old house that has been renewed to be an airbnb, it’s really worth the price for the night. The family that runs the place have lots of trees and plants to attract bees, hummingbird amongst other creatures, I can’t believe how many butterflies I saw the 2 nights we stayed there. It’s so quiet by night, I honestly slept for like 15 hours the day we arrived. Xinia is a great guest too, she had everything super clean upon our arrival, showed us the whole property and gave us some fruits they grew in their farm. A complete tico experience, highly recommended. Only downside is that is kinda “far” from the center for costarican standards, it cost around $6-$8 for a taxi to take you to the center, besides that...

We stayed in their new build Campo Azul 3 for 5 nights over Christmas and we absolutely loved it! We had such a warm welcome from Emanuel's mum Xinia. She ensured we had everything we needed for our stay and showed us around their amazing garden. The kitchen was very well equipped and was brand new which was such a treat. The view goes without saying it is absolutely stunning and being higher up gave us a great view into the valley below. The bed is comfortable and the place was very clean. The shower had great pressure and was very hot which was lovely on the cold nights. Emanuel is very quick to reply and help if you have any issues at all. We will certainly miss this place and hope to go...

The owner and host are super kind they are like your family. Free parking. Very good view. The house is a lot nicer in reality than the pictures. We saw so many rare birds in the garden. Hot shower. Full kitchen. Close to the national parks and coffee tour and the town, all within 5-30 minutes drive. A few minutes drive to the closest shop. Host showed us all the plants and fruits she grows, and let us pick from the garden to cook. We got pomelos, lemons and cooking herbs fresh. She also picked fresh flowers to welcome us to the beautiful wooden house. we saw so many birds outside the house on the bird feed. What a treat!!! The house is nicer in reality than the pictures.
