One of our best stays in Costa Rica! The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and just a 2-minute drive from the beautiful Playa Carrillo (which I actually preferred over Sámara). From the balcony, we had a view of the pool and could even watch soccer games on the field right across the street. The Wi-Fi worked well, the beds were comfortable, and the parking – though a bit tight – was secure, with a locked gate every night. Beach chairs were provided and came in very handy for our days by the ocean! The only negatives would be the road which is right next to it, so a bit noisy sometimes. Then, the bunk beds which are not very safe because the rail of the top bunk is really small and probably wouldn't prevent a child from falling. Also note that there is no washing machine or dryer on site. But other than that, it was perfect. I recommend the place!

We stayed in one of the villas for 5 days and it was wonderful. The hosts are quite gracious, the pool was lovely and the location is ideal, with a local grocery store and 3 excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. We even got to watch a couple of soccer games from our villa’s veranda in the adjacent field. The hosts provided us with a cooler and beach chairs for the beach. And Playa Corrillo, one of the prettiest beaches in the world (and the locals say the 2nd best beach in Costa Rica), is quite close by with lots of parking, palm tree shade and exciting surf. The hosts do not speak English, so practice up in your Spanish x and they are very patient f friendly when communicating with guests.

Bicycle tourist here. Bicycles can be stored outside in a gated area. You might be able to bring them inside. We left ours outside since it seemed pretty safe. Soda and nice tienda right next door. Fully stocked room with small utilities to cook, nice rooms, hot water, aircon and fan. Great pool. Mostly a quiet environment. Most people staying here are here for a longer stay. Owners are very sweet and super helpful. Would highly recommend this place.

Our stay at Villas Welcome to Heaven truly lived up to its name—this was one of the most incredible vacations we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cleanliness of the accommodations. Everything was spotless and perfectly maintained, making us feel comfortable and relaxed right away.

The host went above and beyond—extremely kind, welcoming, and always available to help with anything we needed. The kitchen was also a standout feature—fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. Cooking meals was a breeze, and it felt just like home (but in paradise!).

The location couldn’t have been better—just a short distance to Puerto Carrillo Beach, which is hands-down the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica. Soft sand, clear water, and fewer crowds made it feel like our own personal getaway.

One of our favorite parts of the stay was feeling like locals. The condo is directly across from a soccer field, and each night we enjoyed sipping wine on the balcony while watching spirited soccer matches under the stars. It was such a unique and fun way to soak in the culture and unwind.

We’re already dreaming about coming back. Villas Welcome to Heaven is a gem we’ll visit again, and we recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for an unforgettable Costa...

We recently stayed here for 3 nights and had a great experience. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. With a full or mini-kitchen, tv and AC. The highlight for our kids was the pool, which they swam in for several hours a day!||||The beach is close by, but the walk is a bit random with no sidewalks- regardless, the beach is beautiful. If you go early you can find many exciting things in the tide pools.||||The Villa manager mostly speaks Spanish, but it was fine for us. She was extremely friendly and helpful. ||||Overall the area has more of a local feel, with a few restaurants and a small market. I would recommend getting groceries in Samara before you arrive. We did enjoy our time- but without a car, 3 nights was enough for us to feel like we...
