Hotel Evasión — Hotel in Puerto Cortés

We were Hotel Evasion's first guests! Almost a luxury hotel. Room Our room had 2 bedrooms with king beds, kitchen, 2 bath with pool. Only 8 rooms total in the hotel. Secured entrance at night which is excellent with 24hr onsite security or help. Laundry service available for $10/10 pieces. Waze took us the wrong direction, so stay on the main road that Potz bistro and Exotica are on and you'll find it. 😉 Road to get there is paved with great restaurants nearby as well as excellent coffee. We were able to easily request extra towels. Ample wardrobe space, outlets are convenient to use. They even had a corkscrew! Friendly staff, helped with our bags. AC works great and ceiling fans in both bedrooms. We had a view of the pool from our bedrooms. Would definitely stay there again if we're in the area. Spent 4 well rested nights here at this beautiful hotel. Not sure if we had some sort of discount rate due to it being a new property but the value here FAR surpassed anywhere else we’ve stayed in Costa Rica so far.

This is a brand new hotel so everything is modern and squeaky clean. Massive bed with comfortable linens, cold AC, modern bathroom with huge walk in shower and HOT water, plus a small but efficient and well appointed kitchen. Everything we could ask for. Staff is friendly and Ojochal is a quiet peaceful place to spend a few days. There are some restaurants within short walking distance but if you need to drive to the beach or Uvita to do some additional sight seeing everything is within 10-20 mins. Pool looked nice and clean although we didn’t use it. Would absolutely recommend and would stay here...
