Hotel Zima — Hotel in San Isidro de El General

Ubicado muy cerca del centro de Pérez Zeledón, y a solo 150m de la carretera interamericana. Muy cercano a restaurantes. Tiene espacios para parquear, la atención del personal es súper buena, muy atentos en todo momento. El lugar se ve muy bonito, con jardines y áreas donde las aves llegan a comer frutas. Las habitaciones (al menos la que me tocó) son muy espaciosas, con dos camas matrimoniales, TV por cable, aire acondicionado, teléfono en el cuarto, escritorio con luz (perfecto para quienes hacen teletrabajo), un baño amplio y muy limpio. Me llamo la atención que en el cuarto, hay una máquina para hacer café Britt o Té. La estadía te incluye el desayuno, que por cierto estuvo delicioso, y el área de restaurante, se ve muy bien. Cuentan con piscina y sillas cerca de esta. El precio es muy accesible, tanto para personas que buscan una opción por trabajo, a como para quienes vienen de visita al valle del General, y buscan un sitio acogedor, donde hospedarse. Located very close to the center of Pérez Zeledón, and only 150m from the Inter-American highway. Very close to restaurants. It has parking spaces, the attention of the staff is super good, very attentive at all times. The place looks very pretty, with gardens and areas where birds come to eat fruits. The rooms (at least the one I got) are very spacious, with two double beds, cable TV, air conditioning, telephone in the room, desk with light (perfect for those who telecommute), a spacious and very clean bathroom. It caught my attention that in the room, there is a machine to make Britt coffee or tea. The stay includes breakfast, which by the way was delicious, and the restaurant area looks very good. They have a pool and chairs near it. The price is very accessible, both for people looking for an option for work, as well as for those who come to visit the General Valley, and are looking for a cozy place to stay. Mixed experience at this place Cons first,: No back up toilet paper in the room. No kleenex in room. I had to get off the toilet to meet someone at the door. They could not just leave it. Then, we wanted to use the pool. We could not because there was a local coach having a swim class in the Pool, while all the parents hung around waiting (see picture). I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite having a reservation, I was turned away at 11 PM with two toddlers. The attendant was rude and unhelpful, and the owner was unreachable. They claimed they forgot to turn off their reservation system before a holiday, which seems like a poor excuse. This was one of many excuses given, making the situation even more frustrating.
