Palacio De Paz — Hotel in Tempate

Stayed 12/30 and 12/31 with a group of 10. Plenty of space. 7 of the 8 bedrooms overlook the ocean. Amazing sunsets. Breakfast is prepared by the house manager and we opted to also have her prepare both dinners. All 4 meals were amazing and worth it!

The drive way up is steep but we made it up no problem in our 14 passenger van. The first drive up I was a little nervous, not knowing what is ahead or the parking situation. Mostly because I was driving a big van! We went to the beach one day and the second drive up was much easier.

The communication booking and all the support throughout our stay was great. An amazing experience. If you get the chance to stay here do it!

**TIP- Use Waze for directions in CR not google maps! From Liberia airport Google maps took us on route 911 and there was a portion that was covered in water, like driving through a river! The portion is near "The Congo Trail" point of interest. When we went back to Liberia, Waze took us down through Play Flamingo on 180 to 155 and then up 21. This added 30 mins to the trip but the roads were much easier...

We recently had our wedding trip and ceremony with Palacio de Paz and WOW. All I can say is the entire experience was magic. It was magic because the location is absolutely surreal. Breathtaking. But what truly made our experience was Yulieth, the manager and event planner. We found out she did weddings after we had already booked and had decided we were going to plan the trip on our own. Ended up finding out that Yulieth planned events, and she ended up planning our entire wedding. From seamless transportation, to setting up the ceremony and reception of our dreams we are just truly in awe. If you are waiting for your sign to book this experience, this is it! We comfortably had 20 people stay at the house. Keep in mind that it is open concept and all of the communal areas are outside. That is part of the charm. Absolutely Incredible home and very private location, stunning views, within 10 minute walking distance, or 2 minute drive of 2 of the most beautiful beaches you will ever find. We had 14 people there for 10 days Christmas of 2020. Shirley, the onsite manager of the house made our stay thoroughly enjoyable and very accommodating. Abraham, from Amigo Realty was a very good concierge service for us as well. Highly recommend for large groups, tons of outdoor living space, large bedrooms and bathrooms, all have their own AC too. Close to many activities and restaurants. We paid for 2 women to prepare dinners for us, they were incredible, and large table where at least 16 people could sit comfortably, or more.
