Eros Rooms — Hotel in Grad Split

PROS: The place is very close to city centre, about 5-10 mins on bus. The female staff was very friendly and informative.

CONS: We booked a room with air-con and was given a room without one. We spoke to a male staff (whom we assume was the owner), who said that they don't have air-con in any rooms. We showed him our booking, where the accomodation clearly states that ALL ROOMS are air-conditioned. He then changed his story and told us that it is "unnecessary" to put air-con in our room. We asked to be placed in a new room.

Bedrooms, especially mattress and blanket, have a strong bleach-like smell. Bed were uncomfortable and creacks every time you move. The floor was also quite dusty

Bathroom was very smelly. There was only one bathroom for 4 different rooms.

Very very average hostel, uncomfortable beds and no air con or lockers in rooms. Kitchen is small and somewhat dirty and there was only one bathroom for the entire hostel. No social atmosphere. Host does laundry for you which we were pleased with until we had multiple items of clothing go missing when our laundry was returned.

Quite a distance from the old town so not really recommended for multiple night stays.

The host is super sweet! He offers breakfast and also washing your clothes for free. The room I stayed at had AC, a shared fridge and a hairdryer that you can use :) There also was a terrace where you can hang your clothes to dry. Lucia, the girl who works there is really kind and always happy to help 💓 Only downside is that it’s not really a social hostel, I got called out for talking with two other guests in the shared kitchen...
