I was disappointed with the hotel, but perhaps if you rate it as 3 stars you lower your expectations and then it is fine as a cheap option. The hotel is situated next to several ok beaches, includes sea-salt pools and is located 200m away from a mini aqua park, that is freely accessible for guests (in booking this is shown and one can think it is integral to the hotel). The aqua park is mostly for young children. For half-board you get VERY crowded breakfast and in particular dinner. The food quality is passable, mostly. The staff is obviously overwhelmed with the number of the diners, which is clearly beyond the capacity of the dining area. You may have paid for half board, but still nothing to drink in the evening - you must pay for drinking, even water, at 30c. There is no drinking water fountains in the hotel and around it. I will let the reader judge this business decision. The parking lot (not gated) is crowded too. Buzzing the intercom in the entrance to the small gated parking on arrival got us no response. Upon arrival, you get vouchers for a free Prosecco or orange juice. I am sharing below what you get as welcome. I was told off by the waiter because I did not know I needed the cardboard room number from reception, not the room keycard, to buy a drink at this bar. I should have listened more carefully to the receptionist! (ps, I did, she did not mention that..).

Stayed here with family in early July 2024 for 7 nights. Hotel was bright and airy, front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We had a spacious room on the top floor overlooking the tennis courts and the beach. Room was clean and serviced everyday and towels were refreshed. Good selection at breakfast, gluten free and vegan options were offered. Hotel location is great and a 30 minute walk to Umag Old Town. Hotel is children and family friendly, offering lots of daily activities. There are playgrounds, outdoor pool and an aquapark for children to play. Dinner at the hotel was fine, lots of variety but slightly expensive at €28 per person (if not included at time of reservation) price does not include drinks. My partner and I chose to eat out on a few nights, hotel is a short walk to a number of good restaurants serving delicious seafood dishes.

We spend in this hotel one week in september 2025 via slovak travel agency. Common areas are well mainteined and clean. The room we were accomodated in could be better taken care of. It needs repainting /ceiling has marks of some kind of camouflage, where its painted only on 2 spots with different paint/ and the mostly dissapointing for me was mold in shower. On the opposite I was pleased by food during dinners. The dinning experience is bit disturbed by unorganized hotel guests. As parent, I would welcome plugs covers in kids interiour playground. I would like to say thank you to all staff of this hotel. Even if your job is not easy you are doing it very well. We felt welcomed 🙂

We booked this hotel through an on-line booking agency and the first thing that should be said is that it does NOT have an indoor pool, nor does it have a spa or shop.||This is a very modern and spacious hotel located right on the Adriatic. The carparking is plentiful and close to the hotel. The reception area is light, modern and somewhat spartan. The reception staff were not exactly warm and welcoming but got the job done without managing to give away any information regarding the hotel, facilities or activities.||The room was clean, well appointed and spacious. The view from the balcony was amazing. It overlooked the pool area and the Adriatic. Only around a third of the rooms enjoy that type of view. The remainder overlook the carpark or general open space.||The hotel boasted a buffet restaurant and an a la carte restaurant. On our first night we decided to try the buffet. It should be said that the quality of the food was excellent, as was the selection on offer. It was unfortunately like feeding time at the zoo! It would seem that the majority of guests were on half board, breakfast and evening meal, and the buffet restaurant just couldn't cope with the numbers and getting a table was like entering a scrummage. Management were simply overwhelmed.||On our second night we decided to go al a carte. There were two areas for al a carte dining, one inside and a terrace by the pool area. We arrived at 19.30 to find that the buffet guests had taken over both areas completely and that there was no where to sit. A staff member asked us to wait and then offered us a place on a table already being used by buffet dinners that happened to have two seats free. Eventually we were offered a table for two. Again, the food was excellent but the management of the resources was non-existent. The following day I asked if it was possible to book a table in the al a carte section, the answer was no. We were there for a week and realised that the hotel was simply overwhelmed by half-board customers and did not have a solution. Those guests staying on bed and breakfast, being in the minority, got little or no consideration. We finally started going down to dinner after 8pm when the frenzy had ended.||This hotel could be 4 star but needs to up its game. It is understaffed and management needs to get a grip on the mechanics of catering for the types of guest that it wants to attract. It cannot be all things to all people. It does so well in so many ways, the quality of the food, the bedrooms and the views but it fails at the basic mechanics of coping with the number and type of guest. We were booked to stay for 7 days, we felt that 3 would have been more...

We stayed in this wonderful hotel for one week in July, with two Kids (5 & 8 y.o). We had a wonderful vacation, so I would definetely recommend this hotel, especially for familys with children. What we & our boys absolutely liked:

the big pool with sea water was perfect for children, there was also a small one for babys; the amount of chaiselongues was enough for all the hotel guests

the everyday animation was great- our boys played in the Kids Club during the heat, in the evening they danced on the kids disco. The animators were always friendly and nice :)

there's also a small aquapark in the hotel territory, where our kids had much fun as well;

the food in the restaurant was very tasty and various- different kinds of fish and meat, side dishes, our boys liked pizza a lot, soups, salads, desserts for the dinner; for the breakfast there was different kinds of eggs, pastry, musli, porridge, vegetables, fruits, there was even a small glutenfree corner & plant milk, tea, coffee (which unfortunately was not good) and juice (I liked a carrot one a lot). The drinks at the dinner are not included, but you can order everything, the prices are adequate.

-the sea is direktly by the hotel, there's a small sand beach in the bay nearby, which is perfect for the kids. The sea is clean and the water was not cold.

the rooms were good renovated and comfortable, the room service was every day and everything was nicely cleaned.

in the evening there was a nice animation for hotel guests- different singers in Hotel Sypar, and in the hotel nearby different shows.

and last but not the least- the staff was always polite and friendly, we felt ourselves welcomed.

We would definetely...

Thank you for a wonderful holiday – we had a truly lovely time!

We spent 7 days here with our family and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The whole resort is beautiful, especially the playground for kids – well-designed and full of fun activities. The pools and aquapark were great too, and everything was within a short walking distance.

Parking was easy, the rooms were clean and nicely furnished, housekeeping staff were very friendly, and overall hotel service was excellent. Cleanliness was truly top level.

The food was good, and there’s something for everyone. Personally, I would have appreciated a wider selection of fresh vegetables, but overall the dining experience was positive.

A special thank you goes to Katja at the bar – her perfect daily Café Americano literally saved our holiday 🙂 Please consider giving her a raise – she absolutely deserves it!

One thing we’d love to see improved is the opening time of the bar – ideally from 7:00 AM. The coffee served at breakfast isn’t great, and for those of us who wake up early, that’s a small morning struggle. 😉

As for the beachside restaurant (which belongs to the aquapark), we had mixed feelings. We ate there four times, and each time there was some issue – one meal missing from the order, waiting 10 minutes for the bill, and eventually having to go ask for it ourselves. Sparkling water always came still. The food itself was okay – the problem lies in the service, which could definitely use some improvement.

We truly hope that next time we visit, we’ll feel the difference 🙂 Overall, it was a great holiday and one we’d be happy to repeat. Thank...
