Eine der wenigen Sandstrände in Umag und Umgebung, wir haben diesen natürlich genutzt weil wir direkt in der Nähe unsere Unterkunft hatten. Der Strand ist sehr übersichtlich, auf der linken Seite vom Betonsteg, ist der Sandstrand, rechts daneben Beton, es gibt hier viele Liegeplätze auch im Grünen, man sollte frühzeitig kommen, da es hier ab Vormittag schon voll wird und nach dem Mittag ist es dann richtig voll, gerade jetzt in der Hochsaison im August, trotzdem lässt es sich hier gut aushalten, es geht weit und flach ins Meer hinein und wird dann erst tiefer, für Kinder natürlich ideal, der Sand ist ähnlich wie in Italien. Liegen und Sonnenschirme kann man auch mieten, es gibt hier vorm Strand auch einige Stände wo man Accessoires und Getränke und Gebäck kaufen kann. Leider gibt es hier am Strand nur eine Dusche, es ist dementsprechend der Antrag groß. Es gibt noch mehrere WC, hinter der Marea Beach Bar. Essen waren wir in diesen Lokal aber nicht, da uns die Rezensionen nicht überzeugt haben. Stellt bitte paar Mülleimer mehr auf, so liegt immer sehr viel daneben. Man muss dazu anmerken dass der Müll aber abends auch regelmäßig ausgeleert wird, quillt aber wie gesagt alles über, es taten sich doch die Mitarbeiter auch leichter wenn es mehrere Sammelbehälter gibt. Es besteht die Möglichkeit hier Jetski zu fahren, oder Motorboot auch mit so einer Insel zum anhängen. Tretboote sind auch noch zum ausleihen. Since this is the only sandy beach near Umag it is quiet crowded.

BUT there is another part of the beach which is not sandy anymore but not as crowded as well. The water is crystal clear, if you are a fan of snorkerling like I am, it is a great oppurtinity because this small part has quiet rich wild life of fishes. I spent hours just looking at them. Very peaceful.

Parking is free, there is a restaurant at the beach and you can take a shower after the salty water. Renting a sun...
