Apartments Lira — Hotel in Općina Župa dubrovačka

Reading the reviews I was expecting something really good, but not THIS extraordinary. I have been all over the world, but hands down the best apartment I have ever been to. It is perfect for 2 people, very convenient with fully equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. The view from the front terrace (from the living room) is incredible, clear sunset view every day. The second terrace (from the bedroom) is mainly for the jacuzzi, wich is fully private, super clean and a huge extra. Bathroom is a little small, not too much space to pack your things, but clean. Towels were changed and they took out the trash every day, The location is super silent good to relax, and taking and uber to Cavtat or Dubrovnik costs only between €5-15. The seaside is 5-10 minute walk down, its very rocky but good to chill out there. The hosts (Jelena and his son) were extremely helpful and kind from the first moment till our departure. We have received some organic eggs from her own hens, a bottle of Croatian red wine and a welcome drink of our choice upon arrival. There were two very important football games I wanted to watch but the IP TV didn't seem to work, but they have solved it in 30 minutes and I had every sports channel one could ask for. Upon our departure, we could leave our bags there, and Jelena even provided a small gift for my partner, as she has seen upon check-in from her ID, that her birthday is on our departure day - I have never experienced such a warm and genuine welcome at an accommodation. Overall, we have spent magical 5 nights here, if I would ever return to this area, I will definitely stay here. My daughter and I have just spent four days at this lovely apartment. We arrived about 1 and 1/2 hours before the specified arrival time but were warmly invited in. The refreshing welcome drink was a thoughtful touch as was the waiting bottle of wine. The hosts were friendly and attentive through out our stay. The apartment was of a very high standard and spotlessly clean. The beach at the bottom of the garden was perfect for a spot of snorkelling and swimming. We absolutely loved the jacuzzi. The bus stop was a very short walk up the hill, turn right and once you join the main road, right again. There was a path pretty much all the way and the short 10 -15 min walk felt very safe. It was no issue not having a car. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay in a beautiful apartment with lovely host then this apartment is the place for you. This place is a very convenient place to stay at when visiting Dubrovnik area and Montenegro .Its close to Cavtat , a great place on it's own. We got a warm welcome with a cold drink from the owner Elena.We had the Studio.That was a huge one room with a kitchenette , a sofa bed, dining table and a balcony with sea view . No blinds on the balcony door will wake you up very early.. The bathroom was a bit of disappointment as you can not hang the shower on a hook...Also there is no signage to the place.We had to call the owner who explained us the way..A bit of touch up to the rooms would be great.I would though...
