We had a very pleasant stay at Guesthouse Lovric. Sylvana and Lovric were incredibly accommodating and friendly hosts who made sure we had everything we needed. Sylvana was wonderful— she made sure we were comfortable, served us a delicious breakfast each morning, and even helped us pack lunches for our day of departure. Lovric took the time to show us where the wines are made and shared a bit of the history of the area, which we really enjoyed. On our last night, he even joined us on the deck for a glass of wine — such a lovely and memorable touch. It’s truly a great family-run winery and guesthouse. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The deck was definitely the highlight — even though the weather didn’t allow us to spend much time outside, it offered stunning views of the bay. As other reviews have mentioned, the bathroom is quite small, but it was perfectly fine for our three-night stay. One thing to note is that payment is required in cash, so be sure to have enough on hand. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend Lovric Winery Guesthouse to anyone looking for a quaint, welcoming stay in a beautiful location surrounded by other...
Read moreWhat a great find! There are quite a few steps up to it so just be warned. However, the accommodation was immaculate, the toilets were pristine, the air con welcome, fresh linen etc. in the evening I really enjoyed brewing my own coffee and then sitting on the roof top terrace reading my book with a great view or just kicking back with a beer, there is a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Etc For five Euro you can breakfast like a king on tea, coffee, yogurts, pastries, cold meats and cheeses, pate, bread and a few different juices and fruits. This is really a great place to stay. There is a restaurant right down the steps and another about one minute walk a way and a bus stop beside it if you want to go to town. We actually walked to the beach rather than get the bus as it only took about twenty mins or less and the scenery was worth it. The beach is one of the best on the island and there is a little bar there as well selling cold drinks reasonably...
Read moreTake your money else where! Literally any where else! This place markets themselves as family run business that caters to families - complete lie. After booking 6 months in advance for 2 adults and 1 toddler …at 10 pm one day prior to arriving we got a call from the hotel/manager that they do not allow children on their property. Confused we explained that we had booked this well in advance (already charged for the room) and their online policy said kids of all ages welcome. He just kept yelling at us saying “no no no … no kids allowed”. He was extremely rude and had no empathy…. And literally left us homeless 1 day prior to arrival… with notifying us at 10 pm! We had to find another accommodation within 24 hours in the busiest travel season. Do not book here! Unless you want a surprise notification that you are suddenly not welcome 1 day before arriving. The stress and anxiety is not worth it. I want to avoid any other family going through...
