Natura Plitvice Lakes — Hotel in Općina Plitvička Jezera

Nice accomodation. Our host, Slaven is informative about where to go for the national park and how to get there on foot. Staying here, you could walk to the entrance to the park where you pass by a forest with stone pavements, and there is a local market nearby. Breakfast is 8 € per person and is prepared by the host himself. The facilities are well kept and maintained, with heaters and showers and everything, loads of storage spaces for our room type. Not too far from the bus drop-off point too. There are a few parking on site I guess. Appreciate the silent rule after 11 as most of the guest needs to wake up early for the hike / too tired...

The room we had was nr 1 and it was very basic, there were small and low to the ground beds and small child like tables. There was a lot of dirt on the floor, under the bed and in the windows. It was very strange to arrive at 18.00 to find your key on the door and a note with only our names on it. The most disturbing thing in the appartment is the noise from the reception and entrance, which is next to our room. Accomodation is modern and spacious albeit finished with low quality materials. Staff are friendly but not honest. Location fantastic. Main issue is aircon, from many reviews in past 12 months it appears they operate a scam 'pretending' to have aircon but it 'just broke down' with the 'engineer only being able to come tomorrow'. In short, there is no working aircon and owners are banking on naivity of guests to get them to accept it is out of their control. In colder weather no issue, in...
