I wasn't there as a guest so I can't comment on the rooms, I visited the hotel on my first day in Havana, I was lost without WiFi, money and trying to find a place to eat and exchange money and use the internet whilst I waited for my air B&B to be ready for me to check in.
But in this hotel they only accept card payments and the WiFi is only for guests, but there was a very kind man working in the lobby, I think his name is Oscar or it may be Oliver, and he allowed me to connect to his hotspot so that I had internet whilst I waited, and he really did his best to try and help me with everything I needed, but there was only so much he could do as he can't change the rules of the hotel.
So I am giving this hotel 5 stars because of the kind young man that helped me in reception. If you go to the hotel and you meet the young man, please tell him Deva from England said hi, that I'm grateful for his kindness, and give him a good tip! And if he doesn't remember Deva from England you can say "The woman that said you look like Justin Bieber" I'm sure he will remember that!
I wanted to go back to thank him and eat there before I Ieft Cuba, but I didn't get the opportunity too. But I will go back to Cuba and hopefully get to visit the hotel and pay my gratitude to...
Read moreUpon our arrival at 4:00 PM, we attempted to check into our assigned room, a Junior Suite, but the key did not work. Despite repeatedly requesting assistance, we were left waiting at reception for over two hours, during which a maintenance staff member even told the receptionist he was "too busy" to help. Even after persistently requesting a room change, it was not until 11:00 PM - seven hours later - that we were finally given another room. The room we were given did not look at all like the smart and sophisticated photos on the hotel's website, was very basic, and had no hot water. Awful hotel and even...
Read moreThe newest and tallest hotel and the tallest building in Havana (42 floors). Located about 4 km from Old Havana. Opened in February 2025. Elegant, modern look, glass and concrete contrasting with the rest of the city. Varied breakfast but tasteless food, there were pineapples, papaya, watermelon but bland😞 weak coffee and extremely passive/slow staff. They don't seem to understand English very well. You have to repeat each order at least 2 times. Free wifi throughout the hotel, but the connection is very difficult (I only managed to connect at night). !!! You can only pay by card; cash is not accepted...
