Were at the hotel in 2014, just under the opening after the restoration / repair (renovated rooms + balconies). In a hotel: The service was pleasant, at the reception they answered questions and requests, the room itself was clean and pleasant (nothing changed, it was originally located as the one suggested). I will note an excellent opportunity to meet the sunrises and enjoy the sunrise (ask / take the numbers above and from the right side). Please note that the frontal view of the sea has only a limited number of rooms from the category of family (adults + children), but the side view of the sea is also quite good (see photo to the review, number ~ 525). Just keep in mind that the "standard side siaview" does not actually have a full-fledged side view of the sea !! Food for breakfast was normal, without claims and a special variety (standard, but delicious!). Dinners were good, there was always enough food even if they came under the very closure, on some days there were presentations from the chef with exclusive dishes (it was really tasty). Near the hotel: Presence of the first line, to hand it to the sea (2 minutes). Own pier and deck chairs. Not a bad pool. Excellent promenade for morning and evening walks with the availability of restaurants and cafes. The presence of a large parking for cars. The hotel is located in the center of Limassol, which is an undoubted plus (cafes, restaurants, shops, bus service and post). The place is quite quiet by the standards of the city. The sea at the hotel is always quiet due to the presence of large breakwaters. The nearest interesting places (the city, the port, the ruins of Amathus, etc.) can be reached by bus independently without any difficulties. The hotel is very rare, but local wedding events can be held, which looks very strange (but everything is quiet and noble). With pleasure I visited this hotel again, it really is worth its money. In general, I can recommend the hotel...
Read moreWe found the hotel really well coordinated, very clean and great for families. The only reason I put 4/5 stars on the service is ONLY because of Suzanna the receptionist. We caught her badmouthing some non-Greek speaking customers to someone on the phone in front of them while serving them!! She was also very very rude, dismissive and had a 'don't t bother me attitude'! Last day we were leaving there was no water in our room. My wife called the reception to let them know and Suzanna simply said 'ok' and hang up on her! My wife called back and this time Suzanna mumbled something quickly about calling someone and AGAIN hang up the phone before my wife could even say anything!! We didn't even know whether a plumber was going to come to our room...She did not even apologise for the inconvenience, be at least a bit empathetic as we were going to leave the hotel soon and my son had come out of the shower half way through as the water stopped!!! She simply was extremely rude and didn't care about anything. She just didn't want to be bothered!!! After having being dismissive twice on the phone, we went downstairs to speak to her...She then said that the whole hotel had this issue. Only that. No apology for the inconvenience or the way she treated my wife. Finally a few hours later when it was time to check out, we just gave her the key to our room and she just said 'ok' to us. Nothing about 'did you enjoy your stay, we hope to see you again soon' etc. Nothing just 'ok' as if to say now just b...off and leave me in peace!! The hotel has certainly done a huge mistake by hiring her...she has THE worst customer service skills or no customer skills more like it. If she treated us and the other customers that she was badmouthing, how many has she done that to and continues to do that on a daily basis???? She is the face of the hotel and the hotel chose the...
Read moreAbsolutely loved it here, hotel is nice and bright and clean. Staff are amazing and can't do enough to help. The pool is on the small side but is adequate for the size of the hotel. Just down from the pool is the sea front where I spent my swimming time rather than the pool, it's great how close it is and there is a watersports bit about 100 meters away. It's a perfect central location with a bus stop right out front. Secure car park if you decide to hire a car. Lots of restaurants and shops with a supermarket right across the road. Wings and Rings, The Nags Head, and The Woodman were our favourites and all an easy walk. Fantastic burger van located just outside the car park (Barrel eats) and a cracking little place called Texas Backyard about a 10 minute walk that does Hot Dogs to die for. If cars are your thing then you will be in heaven, The Icon across the road has some real swanky residents with a plethora of high end cars to drool over. I've scored the room down a bit because it could do with some small upgrades. As previously mentioned on here the storage is poor, plenty of room for a chest of drawers but sadly only two small drawers in the dressing table and one in the small wardrobe. I would also have liked more sockets and a ceiling fan but we got by. View from the balcony was amazing, west facing across some buildings to the sea, initially this might seem a downgrade from the front sea facing apartments but it gave us some entertainment and views of some lovely buildings as well. Restaurant in the hotel is decent enough with a buffet option or sit in the bar or outside tables. All in all really enjoyed and if we were to go back to Limassol we would seriously consider this...
