Dining at Thymari Greek Restaurant was a truly memorable experience, marked by both excellent food and outstanding service. The restaurant itself boasts a charming, cozy atmosphere that seamlessly blends contemporary style with traditional Greek elements, creating a welcoming and relaxed environment.
One of the highlights of our meal was the chicken souvlaki. This dish was a standout, featuring perfectly grilled pieces of chicken that were both juicy and flavorful. The chicken was marinated with a blend of spices that enhanced its natural taste without overpowering it. Each skewer was generously portioned, making it a satisfying and hearty meal.
The souvlaki was served with a side of fluffy rice, warm pita bread, and a crisp Greek salad. The rice was light and fragrant, complementing the chicken well, while the pita was soft and ideal for scooping up the various accompaniments. The Greek salad, with its fresh vegetables and tangy feta cheese, provided a refreshing contrast to the grilled meat.
In addition to the excellent food, the service at Thymari was exemplary. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was pleasant from start to finish. Their enthusiasm for the menu and commitment to customer satisfaction were evident throughout our visit.
Overall, Thymari Greek Restaurant is a gem that delivers on both quality and value. The chicken souvlaki is a must-try, offering generous portions and delightful flavors. Coupled with the inviting atmosphere and attentive service, it’s a dining destination that I highly recommend. Whether you’re a fan of Greek cuisine or just looking for a great meal, Thymari is sure to...
Read moreOne of my favorite food memories in Cyprus!
This was my very first meal after landing in Cyprus—and I loved it so much, I came back three times during my trip! It also became my last meal before flying back to Asia.
The ingredients and salad taste incredibly fresh, crisp, and naturally sweet. The cornbread was absolutely delicious—so much so that on my last day, I returned just to get some for takeaway and brought it with me on a 14-hour flight back to Asia!
The staff are kind and welcoming, and I love that they stay open late. I dropped by for a late dinner/supper, and the place was still buzzing with people.
A special shoutout to the lady in charge of making the salads—she’s so skilled! Watching her chop and prepare the vegetables was surprisingly therapeutic.
Highly recommend trying any of their roasted or charred grilled vegetables—so flavorful! I’m seriously missing this place now that I’m back home.
Also, their fries are perfection—simple, but...
Read moreI have been to Thymari yesterday afternoon, where a blond moody woman was behind the bar. We glanced at each other and I was waiting for her to accept me so I could give my order. She stare at me without saying anything and I was patiently waiting. After a minute of not doing anything she decided to salut me. I said hi back to her and started telling her my order. She disappeared from the bar as I was talking and everybody laughed. I still could not figure out what happened but I don't think I deserve such behavior. The roaster approached me and asked me for my order but I was already felt strange so I left. I used to buy from thymari at least once every two week even the staff was often a bit moody and strict. For now and so on, I do not think...
