La Caleta — Restaurant in Germasogeia

We came today to have a breakfast, knowing that the restaurant had a very high rating and a good view.

View Regarding the view, it was one of the most amazing views you can find in Limassol while having breakfast lunch or dinner.

We were greeted by a woman who didn’t have any type of smile or hospitality who is responsible for seating us, But at the same time she was somehow professional.

Our waiter was an amazing guy who had a good smile, a good attitude, and asked a lot about how we felt about the atmosphere and food. Does this guy I give 10 out of 10 for professionalism and for a good vibe.

Food.

The food was very disappointing for the rating that it was given. I think I had more delicious food in to store a three star restaurants. The presentation was phenomenal. The overall outsider look was amazing. The plating was extra ordinary, but the taste was dull and lacked every spectrum of flavour possible.

For example, the avocados didn’t have any salt or pepper. It was very sour and liked a lot of citrus. There was a certain herb that shouldn’t have been there that brought a very funky smell and taste to it. The egg Benedict was not cooked good, and it had a funky taste due to having the avocados.

Madame Crook was extremely fatty,but was good some how.

Unfortunately, while we were eating the salad, we had an encounter with a bug inside the food, which clearly had a fly with its legs upside down, and when we talk to the waiter about it, he took it with one of my forks and said that he’s going to show it to the chef, and when he came back, he said no, it was not an insect 🐜. So I moved on and for what is worth they gave us a 20% discount on the overall part, but we did not like the attitude.

LA CALETA " Aphrodisiac" La Caleta is an "Aphrodisiac" for the mind, body and soul with or without the Oysters. Tranquil relaxing sea views in the day and a vibrant relaxing night atmosphere complimented by the moon and stars. My friends were very impressed by the ICON reception area and the now famous turquoise /blue gorilla. We began our evening with Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label and decided to have sharing dishes. The appetisers were 12 Tabourouch Oysters "au naturel", Yellowfin Ceviche, Hamachi Ceviche and the Caprese /Burata Salad and a Greek Salad, all dishes had great flavours and we're colourful and well presented. Main dish was the Char-grilled Fish of the day which was lightly herbed and flambéd with Ouzo at our table, we also had the Black Prawn Skewers, and the Wagyu Sirloin Skewers which were bought to the table on the mini Robotayaki. For side dishes we had the Portobello Mushrooms and the Roasted Root Vegetables all cooked to perfection. From the select and immense La Caleta Champagne and Wine Menu, we had the Chablis Premier Cru "Les Vallons" which was chilled to perfection. I have went here 2 times now, it’s very beautiful with some waiters being very well to guests and food being from what I have very tasty and drinks being well made, but I have encountered the 2 times that I have there a very rude personell, the lady that welcome you at the front desk, is insanely rude a. does not deserve her job as she is the one who works there and is supposed to do for the guests, I didn’t not see her name tag but she is tall and has curly blond dyed her and with roots beinh brown and the blond growing out, she greets you as you enter and seats you at a table, she was very rude every time I have came, when I have asked for another table she gave me a dirty and told me there is a lounge outside near the pool which she said cannot have drinks or any food there, which then I had food brought and drinks, must of gotten angry by us not liking a table and saying something about it and decided to act as if she is showing herself even tho the guests should be made comfortable not be petty to, and the second time as we just went to the tables outside and had some drinks the same lady came back as our drinks were finished and collected by a waiter, she came back very angerily accusing us of just sitting and not ordering anything as in wasting their time, came to us personally to ask why are we just sitting here and didn’t order anything, very rude service and she should be fired or I will make more complaints for her to loose her job due to her not being able to do it as she’s supposed to, accusing us rudely in not ordering anything and...
