Hotel Sempati — Hotel in Lapta-Alsancak-Çamlıbel Belediyesi

Sent from Samsung Mobile on O2||||We arrived on the 11th Febuary 2020 after a 4 and a half flight. The transfer took roughly 1 hour 30 minutes, which meant we arrived about 21.30/45. The bungalow we were given (1111) was awful, the rooms were damp, with condensation on the walls, and the bed was old/saggy and also damp. But seeing as we were tired we decided to freshen up and go for food and drink. As we left the bungalow, the bar closed, which meant no food. Water and beer could be purchased from the night porter if required! Luckily we had a snack on the plane going over as we are both diabetic so that sustained us. That night was awful, what with the dampness, and a loud air conditioner, we hardly slept. The next morning we went for breakfast, and was given the choice of either a Turkish style breakfast ( I personally don't like eating vegetables for breakfast) along with boiled eggs, and a VERY thin omelette with NO filling! You had a choice of cereals and toast (the toaster either burnt, or left the bread very light done. Coffee was black (even from the machine until someone filled up the milk dispenser). We met our Rep (Ingen) who got us moved to another room within the hotel itself (not to good an idea as my partner has difficulty with stairs etc due to a heart condition), but we were left with no choice. He said he could move us to another hotel, but was unsure if THIS hotel would still charge us, as well as accommodation at the new 1. We declined the offer to move as we are easy going, and wanted to start our holiday. We signed up for a few trips with the rep, and that was the last we saw of him for the 2 weeks we were there. The staff were pleasant enough, and did what they could for you (The winter months manager even took me to the local pharmacy for tablets) so my thanks to him again. The hotel itself is about a 15 - 20 minute taxi drive away from Kyrenia, and about 5 minute drive from the nearest DECENT restaurants. We were later to find out that ourselves and another couple were the only occupants in the whole hotel, this lasted about 3 days. We had NO swimming pool for the first 9 days as it was under maintenance. We went for tea only to be told that there was a VERY small selection available, and ALMOST everything came with chips, even when we never ordered chips! But what really got to us was the "so called SUNNY BÈACH" cove about a 3 minute walk away. This is apparently a big selling point of the holiday, well as you will see in my photos and video's, it was a disappointment to say the least. Güzellikleri ve olumsuzlukları şunlardır:

Açık büfe kahvaltısı ve açık büfe akşam yemeği oldukça güzeldi. Yemekhanesi temiz ve bu konuma, böylesi otele göre güzeldi. Havuzu temizdi ve güzeldi.

Olumsuzluklar ise; girneye uzaktı. Otelin hemen önünden araçlar kalkmiyordu, yaklaşık 10 dk yürümek durumunda kaldık durağa kadar her gün. Rehber olarak ekip getiren Hakan Bey restorantta, cafede, her yerde çok sesli bağırıyordu. Otelin sahibi gibi davranıp hareket ediyordu, yemek yerden ve kahvaltıda bu baskın tavrından müşteri olarak çok rahatsız olduk. Buranın toretoryumu benim der gibi yüksek sesle konuşuyor uzaktan uzağa seslenip emrivaki konuşuyordu. Vs... Ayrıca, hotel sahibi Samiye Hanim çok soğuk biri. Kendi ulkesinden Türkiye'den gezmeye gitmişiz, misafirleriyiz güler yüzle smepatik karşılaması gerekir iken, hep odasında idi hiç sohbet etmedi, hiç soru sorması ilgisi alakası sıfırdır. İlk günün sabahı locada gördüm, günaydın dedim cevap vermedi. Hatta iki üç kere günaydın dedim cevap vermedi, dönüp kamera kayıtlarından o güne bakabilir (21 Ağustos sabahı) Onur bey ise her sorununuza derman oluyor, güler yüzlü ama paragöz gibi biri. Bizi görür görmez akşam yemeginin parasını istiyordu. Dağ başında ki otelden kaçacak miyiz? Geliş dönüş günlerimiz belli. Akşam yemeğinin parasini günlük elden veriyorduk. Akşam burdayiz dediğimde hemen parasını istiyordu. Arkadaşım, akşam versek kaçacak miyiz? Oldu cins çıktık diyelim yarın da misafiriniziz ertesi gün de sonraki gün de. Her türlü o parayı bizden alabilirsiniz ki. Akşam burda yemek yiyeceğiz dedim kahvaltıda hemen "parasını musaitseniz alayım mı abi" dedi. Diğer gün plajdan geldik şampuan koymamislardi odaya istedim sağ olsun odaya kadar getirdi ama hemen abi musaitseniz akşam yemeği parasını da alayım mı dedi. Ya bi dur, kirliyiz, duş alalim, kaçacak miyiz? Paraya tapan bir izlenim bırakması güzel değildi. Ayrıca son gün kahvaltıdan sonra "abi memnun kaldınız insallah. odaya gelin olumsuzluklar varsa bize söyleyin,olumlulari da google sayfaya yazın" demesi de şeffaflık ve netlik açısından doğru bir işleyiş değil. Bırakın herkes kendi izlenimlerini buradan yazsın ki sonradan gelecek müşterilere bir bilgi versin(ben abi her şeyi sayfanıza yazarim, dedim) Türkçe bilmeyen Afganistan Türkmenistan İran gibi yabancı ülke vatandaşlarını çalıştırıyorlardi. İletişim kurmakta zorlanıyorduk. Üç kuruş az verip yabancı ülke insanı çalıştırmak yerine türk insanlar neden çalıştırmıyorsunuz ki?

Ayrıca ilk gün iki pet şişe su koymuşlardı. Bitince, ertesi gün susuz kaldık. Onur beye hergun su hakkımız yok mu dedim, "hayır ilk gün ücretsiz diğer günler ücretli" dedi. Ben şok oldum. 10 dk yurume mesafesi ile gidip marketten su almak durumunda kaldım. Oysaki 8-10 ülke gitmiş. Türkiye'de neredeyse 50 il gezmiş biri olarak hergun su hakkiniz olur. Çocuk susuz kaldı bir süreliğine ben gidip marketin yerini öğrenip su alıp gelene kadar.

Magusaya gidimce, kombos dolmuşlarınin olduğu yere dönmek için iki aile ortak taksi kiraladik. Onlar bizden daha uygun fiyata girnede otelde kaldıklarını söylediler. Araştırın gidin derim. Laptadan girneye her gün bu kadar yol cekmek durumunda kalmazsiniz. Biz geceliği 3 bin TL kalıyorduk onlar 2500 e kaldıklarını söylediler. Girne merkezde hem de. Yoldur akşam yemegidir derken geceliginiz bu otelde 4bin 4500e mal olmuş oluyor.

Özetle, kahvaltısı ve akşam yemekleri acik büfe. Çok farklı ve güzel mezeleri var. Havuzu güzel .Ama Samiye Hanim ve Onur beyin iletisimi zayıf. Calisanlar türk değil iletişim kurulmuyor. ...

Should avoid this "hotel", stayed there three years ago and still think it is a nightmare. During our stay, the air conditioning is not working so we have to open the window all the time and a lot of insect get in the evening time. The worst is and son got bite from those insect and got sick and high temperature, we ask for help and advise, which what they can provide is an address to the public hospital, not thing more. We bring some water from outside because I we need lot of water for the sickest, however the staff stop us because it is their rules that customer cannot bring any good or drink to the hotel, not even water. We tried to explain what happen to us and is end up we have to bin these water or move out of the hotel. We discussed that to the rep, and he explained the hotel need to make money from food and drink because it is bargain package, if not the hotel cannot make any money, however one couple got food poisoning at the last day of the trip and they have to get off the airplane in Turkey because of the sickest.
