Needs serious improvement.
The first thing that annoyed us was that you would not allow one person to have the mixed meze dish and share it with someone else.... don't tell me "no, we have to charge you double if another person eats from your plate...." are you serious? Do you realise how silly you sound? Because of that we didn't get any starters, so now you lose that money entirely.
The mains we ordered, calamari which was cooked well and well prepared which will be the 1st of the 2 good things about this review, the mixed chicken dish my friend ordered looked undercooked, parts were very pink inside and squidgy and felt undercooked, you are lucky he was not sick....
The last thing that annoyed us was after we paid the bill, the cost which came to over 700 tl, you didn't come back with the change, you just assumed that was for you! Customer service needs significant improvement.... shouldn't take 10 mins to grab a beer to the point we were almost done with our food.
Whereas every other restaurant we have been to has brought all change back to us and all the time we give a large amount in return as a tip.
The 2nd and last good thing was the price, I wouldn't pay a penny more because they are not worth it.
If you want good seafood, good customer service and a good view, although it is more pricey yet I feel it is worth it, its called CALAMARI and it is not too far from silver rocks and everything is...
Read moreThank goodness at least one of these lovely seafront local restaurants remains good value with great food!
We used to try all the places along the Lapta strip but this season all the others seem to have got delusional and started charging silly money for average food and drink.
Silver Rocks is the exception. The food is tasty and portion sizes very good. Prices remain acceptable (for example we paid less here for 2 courses than we paid for one course in Seapoint and Calamari). House wine here was TL50 a glass LESS than Seapoint.
Service is really good here and staff pleasant and cheerful.
The venue, like all the other places along this coast, is really nice; with seating right on the seaside.
To summarize; all these restaurants are very similar, but Silver Rocks beats all the others hands down on a combo of price and...
Read moreI had been disappointed by several restaurant visits in the area, but I was delighted to discover this hidden gem. The food was not only delicious but also generously portioned. They surprised us with delightful bread and mezes, which were a pleasant addition to our meal and not on the bill. We savored the chicken shish, wings, and king prawns in garlic sauce, and each dish was a taste sensation.
The service was exceptional; the staff served us with genuine smiles and even offered complimentary tea after we settled the bill. The tea was not only delicious but served at the perfect temperature. The waiter added to our experience with his jovial demeanor and regular check-ins to ensure our satisfaction. Overall, it was an outstanding...
