Lemongrass Hostel — Hotel in Limassol Municipality

PROS: Lovely interior and exterior design; Good value for a long-term; Not much noise in or outside. CONS: Personal belongings go missing all the time; The soft-spoken owner is in fact aggressive and careless; no hot water to shower with sometimes; no cold water to drink most of the time. EDIT: Setting the record straight upon the owner's answer... 1) My name is misspelled. 2) You were told several times that no hot water was available at times, just not right away when people would rather put their clothes on instead because they wouldn't risk getting late to work. 3) 6 months are not 2 years, a 70 x 100 x 100 cm bag is far from being a small bag, the "small bag" contained several clothes and items, you knew damn well the bag was mine, that I was coming back sooner or later, though you threw it off, and last but not least, "personal belongings going missing all the time" includes being stolen and thrown off by some reckless staff "volunteers". Funny you didn't counter my claim that you're aggressive and careless. Too afraid I came out with specifics? Nice try to gaslight me and other viewers, though. Attend anger management events if you feel ashamed for being exposed. 2) I never said any members of the "staff" (a.k.a. "volunteers) as ever been aggressive. 3) That policy you mention existed in your mind only, as it was not available anywhere. 4) First time I hear you say you donate left items to charity and that you try to contact people. Not the first time I hear you say you throw them off. It was not my obligation to alert you to unpleasant situations, including people wanting to check-in and nobody was around for them, yet I did. Disappointing Experience: Issues with Refund Process

I recently had a less-than-ideal experience with Lemongrass Hostel, and I'd like to share my concerns regarding their refund policy. My encounter with their cancellation process was frustrating, and I encountered difficulties in obtaining a refund, which left me feeling dissatisfied.

Initially, I was excited about my reservation at Lemongrass Hostel, as their Booking.com page highlighted comfortable accommodations and good customer service. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances arose, and I had to cancel my trip. I promptly reached out to the hostel to inform them, but I didn't receive a response to my multiple international calls. Considering that I had canceled within a reasonable timeframe of 5 days before the booking date and the "free cancellation" banners on their website, I expected a straightforward process with a reasonable refund.

However, I was disappointed by the lack of helpfulness and understanding from one of their staff members. Instead of providing the assistance I needed, their response was dismissive, lacking professionalism, empathy, and a willingness to find a mutually agreeable solution.

I have been staying here for 4 nights and it was my first unforgettable experience in hostel! I am totally overwhelmed with hospitality of Petro, who is the main person there. He made my stay maximum comfortable and helped me in situation when I really needed help. The place by itself is enough for amount of people it suppose to accommodate, there are 2 balconies, 2 WC with all needed so if you forgot your shower gel or shampoo you are saved, they have ladies only room and mixed one. There is even a filter with water which you can use, tea and coffee facilities are also for your disposal. There is a spacious and really cozy living room, where you can gather with your new friends to get along. The only problem was that there is no AC, only ventilator so at night air is really stuffy in the room. I will definitely recommend this place, for it's price...
