Columbia Steak House — Local services in Limassol Municipality

We came early at 7 pm There was only 4 other tables and once we sat down we was given our menus. After deciding on our choices we asked a waiter if we could order and was told we need to wait for the head waiter to take our order. This took approximately 5 more minutes after asking again to order. After our order of 3 adults and a child whom we ordered from the children’s menu. We waited for a good 20 minutes. Before I said to my wife why are the only table not to be served bread. Upon asking a waiter why we were not served bread they scurried to the back of the service area to arrange what they forgot. Upon our bread being finally served we had to wait an additional 15 minutes for our dinner to be served. Dinner was very good only 1 point why serve fillet steak with sauce as 2 off cuts .the price was the same a one cut fillet steak without sauce. After the meal we asked for an ice cream and some toothpicks , ice cream came , toothpicks did not. Asked the bill and had to remind staff to provide toothpicks. It’s a steakhouse is it not ? If you’re looking for a fantastic steak in Limassol, Columbia Steak House is a great choice. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty, creating a calm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for an enjoyable evening. The staff were attentive and professional, adding to the overall experience.

We started with a Greek salad that was fresh and flavorful—a perfect beginning to the meal. For our mains, we tried fillet steaks—American beef cooked medium-rare and Australian beef cooked medium-well. Both were tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked, with generous 250-gram portions. The side dishes were equally impressive, especially the truffle mashed potatoes, which I absolutely loved. We paired the steaks with peppercorn sauce (my favorite) and creamy mushroom sauce, both of which complemented the meat beautifully.

To finish, we lingered over a cup of espresso and a scoop of ice cream, still enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The only downside was that the toilets didn’t match the elegance of the restaurant, but everything else was exceptional. Excellent food, my only negatives if I can call them negatives cause it’s just my opinion is the way waitress serves wine food etc they are very friendly but some basic rules in service has to be followed, for example, when you serve, wine water etc you have to, serve the customers from the right side first, the ladies never crossed the table to serve the opposite person ets and why an ice tongue to serve crispy duck? Am 25 years in catering industry it’s a high class restaurant and some details has to there high quality silver wear but needs a polishing mean were clean but old don’t change them there’s polishing machines now they ll make them like new , and finaly lt needs a renovation a fresh look whole place it’s clean nice decorate but same a lot of years Please don’t get it wrong everything was perfect we had great time and amazing food and desserts am not complaining it’s just my opinion and maybe am wrong, and am saying it with honesty and with love to the establishment cause am a customer lots of years But always there’s a place for improvement My congrats to chefs and...
