It started well and it finished disappointing. For starters we have ordered Greek Salad and Tzatziki. As main courses two Sea Basses, and two glasses of white wine. Before anything came we were served with „homemade” bread with homemade butter and tomato pasta. Bread happened to be a sweet buns that were not very fresh, but the butter and pasta were very tasty, overall we liked it due to pasta and butter. After a while came the salad and tzatziki. There was no bread for tzatziki or anything, just a small jar of tzatziki and a spoon. We were like fine, we need to ask for the bread or something, but in the meantime we started putting the salad on plates and we noticed, that for a „greek” salad it lacks of olives. I was curious to check again in the menu, and surprisingly, in the menu it stated it contains some special kind of olives. At this point we had to take a hold to call a waiter to get missing bread for tzatziki and fix the missing olives in the salad. It was quite busy, but lots of places are busy and its usually not a problem, but still we had to wave a few for someone to come to us as we couldnt start eating any of the starters and it took awkwardly quite time. Waiter finally came, inspected the salad and acknlowledged the olives are missing but before I managed to ask the waiter to bring some bread for the tzatziki, he went away to bring the olives. As he came back with the olives we asked about the bread, waiter said „no problem”, and went away. We finished the salad, someone else brought the main course (sea bass) and the bread for the tzatziki never came - we were left with a full jar of tzatziki with a spoon and nothing to put it on.
And here comes the main disappointment - main course - „Fresh Seabass stuffed with vegetables”, waiter places the plates on our table and to our full surprice ..it’s a rolled fillet with veggie strips in it! At first I am like, how could we make such a mistake and miss the fact it’s a fillet! I check back the menu once again, and it says nowhere its a fillet (attatched the picture). We ate sea bass (fillet was good for London or Berlin …but we are on Cyprus), never got bread for tzatziki, didn’t even touch it (imagine eating just tzatziki with a spoon).
Long story short, disappointment after the disappointment, paid for everything 55€ and left unhappy. This place is really nice, it’s nice to come and take a picture, maybe have a drink. It has a potential, but with service like this, with such mistakes and misleading menu simply ruins this place. Not sure about other courses offered in the menu but I would never recommend to go to this place for a good food and a...
Read moreI do not lightly post poor reviews but our experience at this restaurant was really not good. We had booked well in advance after much research on best restaurants in Limassol. This is supposed to be an upscale restaurant and has prices to match. We got dressed up and arrived only to be shown to high tables in the bar area. I am not a small person and struggle to be comfortable on bar stools so we asked if we could sit at a normal table. There was hesitation and not a lot of enthusiasm but we were then offered a table by the door in a room off to the side from the main buzzy restaurant room. It was also dark, sat by a fire extinguisher ... 3 actually. There was another couple sat in with us just finishing. As we looked onto the main restaurant it was well lit and appeared to have a great vibe and we saw empty tables so asked if we could sit in there. They said they would check but nobody came back to us. We had ordered cocktails after sitting down and these took ages. While we waited nobody served us and we struggled to get hold of someone. Finally we did get hold of someone and asked again about moving. We were then told the main dining room was fully booked so those free tables weren't actually available. Hmmm. Well we were not walk ins so why this poor treatment. We really didn't want to stay but we're still waiting on cocktails and aren't the type to leave if we have something coming. We looked at the menus and decided we would order only starters and see if they were good and if service picked up. We were clearly neglected in this side space by the door. Drinks finally arrived. But everything took an age. Also, the table lamp was filthy, the drink arrived in a really sticky glass, they did not have my trust. The bread board was not attractive or nice to eat. The starters though were well presented and tasted good and clearly somewhat elevated. However we had now been there an hour just for a drink and starter and had enough. Took the bill. €50. No tip. Went to eat main course somewhere else. Gutted really, each night in Cyprus was precious and carefully planned and we ate so well everywhere else and people had been so friendly everywhere in town... Just not here. Obviously if you are not a local you are not important to...
Read moreJanuary, 5th in 2025 we have given this Restaurant a try. From the Seaside it took us 1 Kilometer to reach it. The Restaurant is located almost out of Nowhere in a Commercial or Industrial area. It is uncomfortable to walk. Very often you need to walk on the street because there is no pavement or pedestrian way. From outside the Restaurant looks like being located in a big Villa. We have not done a Reservation which was a mistake. Upon arrival a Lady with friendly smile has welcomed us. But she needed to ask her colleague if there is a free table for us. Finally we got presented a small round table with the information that we can have it for two hours. We were sitting on high stools. Together with the small round table it was uncomfortable. Then it started to become interesting from their Service. Knowing that we only would have two to stay there nobody has cared about us although there were several not to say enough waiters. After 15 minutes we have asked a waiter for the Menu which we then received quite fast. The Menu is quite extensive which leads to doubts if all can be fresh... Then we ordered Tsatziki (4 €), Spring Rolls with " Mousaka" or better with BEEF Bolognaise. (12 €). Then I wanted to order Lamb Filet (offered at a price of 28 €) which should be served with Rice which I don't like. So I have asked the waiter if it can be served with any kind of potatoes. He then spoke with a colleague and I got told that this isn't possible... Because of that I have ordered TUNA TATAKI (16,50 €). Soon we received the Tsatziki with fresh bread, Butter and Tomatoe Sauce. The Tsatziki was well prepared and of good taste. The Tuna Tataki wasn't fresh and the taste was below average. The taste of the Spring Rolls was okay. Then the waiter has asked me about the taste of the TUNA which I have answered. But he hasn't given any comment nor compensation as he has seen that I haven't finished the small portion. Then we have asked for the Bill. We got presented the Card Reader and should have filled in the Tip out of a choice of different amounts. Sorry to say the Service has not deserved Tip. So our final rating is different to all the AWARDS this Restaurant has received in the past. Toilets are simple and at...
