Nice India food restaurant I'm Limassol. A huge menu to select from with a lot of vegetarian options.
For starters we had the deep fried onion fritters. It was too oily and the fritter was too dense and not airy as it should be, I would skip it.
We took the tahli option that come with a naan bread that was quite tastles. A ball of rice and three dishes to choose from.
They are very flexible with the spicyness level and you can ask to get it not spicy at all.
We had the butter panir that was the best dish on our meal, creamy and rich with flavours.
The Chana masala was nice but lacking some flavour.
The aloo tikka masala was a nice dish.
We had a good mango lassi
The place is quite simple and the atmosphere is more like a blue collar 'worker' place. Service was efficient and fast.
All together we paid 36 Euro
A very nice option for an Indian food...
Read moreVery nice indian restaurant! The place was very clean and the service was very friendly and helpful! The food was very good! Fresh, with good quality and great quantity!! We had the Thali for 1 for 15 euros, where you have a big portion of rice, two main dishes (vegetarian) (the non vegetarian thali is 17 euros) and a big nan bread! You can choose the main dishes from any plate you like on the menu! And the menu has many options!! I wanted to change nan bread with chapati, and the guy had no problem! And he put two big chapati instead! Everything was fresh and carefully prepared! You can see it from their open kitchen too! Prices were very good also! We also liked a lot that at the end they treated us with two indian desserts! We will...
Read moreAs it can be seen from the attached picture, I got raw alloo and paneer paranthas packed which I had to cook properly after. Moreover, one other day I ordered Butter paneer(tasted like packed frozen sabji from grocery shops with tiny 3 paneers), malai kofta(worst ever-ever tried), and Dal makhini(average taste). However, I tried all three sabji’s without making any complaints and put rest into the fridge for next day. Interestingly, the next day, daal tasted sour like homemade sabji tastes after 4 days and condition of the other two was also not good to eat, so I ultimately had to throw all of them :)
When I told this to the lady owner of the restaurant, all she said was - I dont know why it happened...
