Penzion Elbrs — Hotel in Cheb District

Me and my friend were looking for cheap accomodation in the beautiful Marianske Lazne and were lucky to find this gem. At the price of just 15 Euro per person we got a spacious, clean room located in an extention of the house. The place was lovely (really, the photos on the site don't do it justice!), the shower was hot and strong, and the breakfast was just wonderful: we had coffee with cream, bread rolls, various kinds of spreads, butter, sausage, cheese, some vegetables, yogurt, etc. The owner and her family are really nice people - we arrived in the evening, and since the owner was out, her daughter received us, gave us the key to our room and let us rest; we paid for our stay the following morning. They also let us keep our things in the room until 5 pm at no charge.||||The only problem is that the street where the pension is located isn't easy to find, especially when coming from the central bus/train station, as we did, in the dark (with the neighborhood seemingly asleep at 8.30 pm). Fortunately, we were helped by some kind people that explained the route thus: exit the station, go straight (uphill), then take the first right and go straight; you'll cross three streets, the first with trolley cables, the second without, and the third (also with trolley cables) is the one you need, Palackeho street. Turn right and walk down the street for a couple of minutes; Pension Elbrs is on the left side. The town center is about 15 minutes away, although it takes more time since you go through a lovely spa park and a lake located just behind the pension, and it's impossible not to take photos!||||In short, we felt at home and would be glad to stay at the...

Wonderful stay there, friendly hostess who speaks German. The room was definitely spacious enough, the bed a boxspring, it even had a kitchenette with a few pots and pans. Breakfast was in a separate building, in the garden and was quite good. Its relatively cheap for the quality of the facilities that they offer. When I'm ever again in Marianske Lazne, I will definitely stay there again. I'd give it 4.7 out of 5 stats if I could–it got rather warm in our room (top floor) at the end of the day—but that would be the only remark to an otherwise...

Vom 10.08.- 13.08.2011 waren wir in Marianske Lazne und haben in der Pension Elbrs übernachtet.||Wir haben 2 Doppelzimmer reserviert und sie auch bekommen.||Die Pension verfügt über ein Hauptgebäude mit Zimmern und einem Anbau, ebenfalls mit Zimmern.||Wir haben unsere Doppelzimmer in dem Anbau, der sehr gemütlich ist bekommen.||Meine Nichte und ich hatten 2 Stockwerke. Im unteren Bereicht befand sich der Flur und das Bad, im oberen Bereicht der Wohn- und Schlafbereich (Doppelbett, Sofa -auch als Schlafsofa zu nehmen- mit Tisch, kleiner Küchenbereich mit Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher).||Im Bad wurden Handtücher von der Pension zur Verfügung gestellt und man konnte wirklich heiß duschen (Wasserwärme war regulierbar).||Frühstück gab es ab 7.30 Uhr, welches in einem gemütlichen Wintergarten zu sich genommen wurde. Das Frühstück war sehr reichlich und es gab jeden Tag etwas anderes. Die Besitzerin, der Pension, hat auch an einem Morgen selbst gebackenene Pflaumenkuchen auf den Tisch gestellt.||Das Auto kann man auf dem Grundstück parken und das Gartentor verschließen.||Im Garten gibt es Sitzmöglichkeiten, wo man sich gemütlich besammensetzen kann.||||Es ist zwar kein Sternehotel, aber dafür haben wir uns ja auch für eine Pension entschieden.||Wenn man ein Sternehotel erwartet, sollte man eben auch in solch einem übernachten.||Wir werden jedenfalls immer wieder in die Pension Elbrs zurückkehren, wenn wir einen Urlaub in den schönen Marianske Lazne planen.||||Für eine Nacht mit Frühstück haben wir...
