Mezní Louka / Rainwiese Hotel — Hotel in okres Děčín

Hotel Menzi Louka is a land mark place on all the walking maps in this area. So it is tempting to plan it in as a resting place on your walk: just don´t.||We had the most extraordinary experience at this place: We sat down on the terrace with only about 4 other tables occupied. It was overcast so we sat under a parasol in case it would rain. 5 minutes later another couple arrived and decided to sit at the table next to us under the same parasol. A waitress that decided again 5 minutes later to walk over to our area on the terrace and handed menus to the table next to us. She took their orders for drinks and disappeared. 10 minutes later she came with there beverages and took their order for lunch and walked off again. Since we felt like "the invisible man" I sad "excuse me?". We got a vague some what irritated reaction but clearly we were not or no longer invisible. Then she turned up to serve our neighbours under the parasol their lunch and off she went again. Then 5 minutes later she walked nearby and we looked up and she said that her colleague was going to come to help us. We waited while all the other guests on the terrace finished there drinks and lunch and left. A new couple had turned up and sat not far away on the now almost empty terrace. They were also waiting for sometime but the waitress and her colleague did not bother to walk over. At this point we concluded that for some reason we were clearly not welcome. Somewhat puzzled we left to continue our walk. We had a great guy pussing our boat down the stream a bit further down...

At first glance, the hotel looks somewhat unkempt. However, a closer look reveals that the architecture and layout has real style with many, wooden carving details. Maintaining these beautiful wooden details is expensive therefore I imagine the paint has flaked off here and there.

When you take a seat on the fantastic terrace you can enjoy the perfect surroundings and natural atmoaphere. The service is fast and friendly.

The rooms are basic but spacious and really incredibly clean! The quality of the mattresses are very good, one of the most important criteria for a hotel right? Firm, yet comfortable. The shower has a powerful jet and the water is well warm (read: hot!).

The menu has a limited selection but the food is very tasty. Again, the service is very friendly and engaging. The breakfast buffet is very extensive, everyone will find something for his/her tasting.

There is ample free parking behind the hotel for hotel guests.

All things considered, it is a TOP hotel, with atmosphere and the warm charm of the staff make up for...

Do Hřenska ano do Hotelu Mezní Louka NIKDY VÍC aneb Jak jsme poznali nepříjemného pudla !!! Problém s naším wellness pobytem nastal už při cestě do hotelu. O neochotě prodloužit voucher nebudu ani mluvit, tudíž jsme pod výhružkou propadnutí voucheru zvolili termín od pondělí do středy, který se nám vůbec nehodil, jelikož jsem měl v pondělí odpoledne obchodní jednání. To se nakonec protáhlo a já se svojí přítelkyní vyrazil se zpožděním do Hřenska. Celý den jsme se na hotel nemohli dovolat, abychom oznámili, že budeme mít 20 minut zpoždění. To se nám chvilku po šesté hodině povedlo a už tenkrát jsem mohl poprvé mluvit s naprosto nepříjemným pudlem z recepce. Neexistuje, abyste přijeli po sedmé hodině. Neexistuje, abych nechala někde klíče (restaurace, květináč..). Tudíž jsme se otočili a že na hotel dorazíme ráno do 10ti hodin, abychom stihli snídani. Druhý den jsme přijeli v 9:45, jelikož v Ústní byla bouračka. Slušně jsem požádal pudla, zda by nám nepřebookovali pobyt, když byl včera takový problém přijet o 20 minut později. To pudla rozhněvalo natolik, že nám řekl, jestli se nám něco nelíbí, tak AŤ ODJEDEME !!! WTF?? Být tam s kamarády, tak pudl dostane takový kouř, že ještě teď pláče v koutě. Nicméně jsem kvůli mé slečně zachoval klid, pousmál jsem se a řekl, že si konečně dáme po dvouhodinové cestě snídani. V restauraci ještě dojídali hosté snídani, začal jsem si tedy nandavat párky, když v tu chvíli přiběhl pudl a začal štěkat, že nám řekla, že snídaně jsou jen do 10 hodin, a že nám v tomto případě ruší druhou snídani. To už jsem milou slečnu měl úplně na salámu a těšil jsem se na krásy Českého Švýcarska. Po krásném celodenním výletu jsme se děsili, co se bude dít večer, jelikož nám v jednom příjemném penzionu vyprávěli o hrůzné pověsti hotelu. Bohužel jsme si nezjistili do kolika hodin je večeře. Na tu jsme dorazili ve čtvrt na 8. V tu chvíli už jsem viděl jen pudla, jak okusuje kostičku a bylo mi jasný, co přijde. Pudl se nám vysmál, že večeře jsou jen do 7, načež jsme odvětili, že máme fajn tip na příjemnou obsluhu a restauraci naproti přes silnici. Pudl se nám jen opět vysmál se slovy, že tam beztak mají stejného kuchaře jako oni v hotelu. Shrnutí: Hotel má fajn pozici a čisté pokoje. Snídaně jsou bohaté, večeře bohužel nevíme, protože ze dvou zaplacených večeří jsme neměli ani jednu.Každopádně ochota a vstřícnost personálu je nulová. Pokud tedy bude chtít navštívit tento hotel, tak hlavně buďte zticha a vyhýbejte se pudlovi - blondýnka vypadající jako ošklivý kluk. Pokud si ale nechcete kazit dovolenou, ubytujte...
