Hotel Atlas — Hotel in okres Trutnov

Went there for a weekend in the end of August and I have to say that this place is really cosy. Nice room, clean, with TV - the design of the furniture was in the same kind of rustic design so I was pleasantly surprised. ||As for the food - buffet for breakfast and you really had your pick of what to eat, even though it is just a small hotel I was really suprised about how well they cook there.||The staff was really nice.||I would definitely recommend buying the grilled pork - I think they have those every Friday and hand off it was the best grilled pork I...

Ordering Krkonoše skewer and pork tenderloin, we had a very very bad experience. The skewer contained sausages (probably those that were left from breakfast) and the entire skewer was very oily. More importantly, the meat felt like it was not OK and had been unfrozen more then would have been healthy. In addition, both meals had the same sauce. Mixed vegateble salad felt very awkward, just like it contained pickled cucumbers... when we raised our voice against that, we were told it was due to the dressing; so it made us wonder for how long the salad stood still that the cucumber tasted like a pickle... Well, certainly there are places with better and not health-endangering places.||||Objednali jsme si Krkonošsský špíz a vepřovou panenku a byli jsme velmi nemile překvapeni. Špíz byl plný párku, pravděpodobně od snídaně, a celý špíz byl velice mastný. Co bylo podstatnější, je, že maso v obou případech chutnalo a vonělo velmi nevábně, rozhodně nevzbuzovalo dojem čerstvosti. Obě jídla navíc měly stejnou omáčku. Zelenina v šopském salátu rovněž chutnala zkaženě, jako kdyby byla v salátu rychlokvaška. Když jsme se ozvali, bylo nám řečeno, že je to tím, jak okurka nasákne zálivkou. We had a perfect stay at Hotel Atlas. All of the staff were wonderful - friendly, hospitable, very accommodating, cheerful, and welcoming to us and our two dogs. The room was very clean and quiet. The food and beer at the hotel restaurant was excellent. We very much enjoyed our short stay and heartily recommend staying here! Thank you again...
