Hotel Avion Praha — Hotel in Prague

AVOID AVOID AVOID Absolutely horrendous, without a doubt the worst hotel I've stayed at, we had booked 6 nights and left after 1 night!

The room was quite dirty when we arrived, but to be fair the price was not bad so nevermind that.. The disgust started when on the first night, we were having an issue with the lights not working in the hotelroom, when we called reception to get some advice, it rang for about 30 second and when finally someone picked he literally was yelling CAN I HELP YOU in a very aggravated tone. When I explained we were having an issue with the lights he yelled ARE YOU KIDDING ME and slammed the phone?? I really couldn't believe what was happening,

Ok fine, we just went to sleep, Only to get woken up at 5 in the morning due to loads of banging noises from the ground floor? It was like the personnel was having a fight in the kitchen or something?? Again, zero attention for the paying customers,

We've kindly asked if we could be moved to a different room at the reception, but there was no way, she didn't even show the slightest interest in helping us. After asking if we could cancel the remaining nights there was absolutely no way, again showing no interest at all to make the slightest improvement to our stay, even mumbling some czech to herself like she was surprised to receive a complaint,

Sorry for this rant but if I could even prevent one single person from having the same horrible experience we've had, I'd be satisfied. We decided to book a different hotel (ADAP, much more central and the same price or even less, much much better experience)...

I visited Prague last April 2023 and stayed at this hotel...it meets my expectations in several aspects.||||Location. Situated in a convenient area, the nearby metro, trams, and bus stops, allow guests to explore the city of Prague effortlessly. ||||Rates. It's reasonable and fair, considering the comfort level and service quality. It offered excellent value for money.||||Customer service. The staff was professional, attentive, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests I had.||||Breakfast selection. The breakfast spread was diverse, with a variety of options to suit different tastes and dietary preferences. There's a selection of freshly baked pastries, cold cuts, fruits, and hot dishes. There are two coffee stations and a selection of tea. ||||Clean and spacious room. My room is clean and impeccably maintained and I commend the housekeeping staff for that! their attention to detail and dedication! The room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration.||||Overall, my stay at Hotel Avion was truly memorable and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and well-rounded accommodation experience in Prague. This hotel is not much different than others with more stars, in the way it offers its services.|Somewhat conveniently located halfway between the airport and the city center, although not on the main boulevard, it offers easy access to public transportation (trolley with rapid transfer to and from the airport, tram, metro).|It is located in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristic area - for those who prefer this. You can also reach the old town by walking for approx. 50 minutes, but the route can challenge those who want to, due to differences in level and the many streets that have to be changed.|The rooms are quite spacious, with functional furniture, a generous bathroom, clean and properly equipped.|The breakfast is varied, the staff very efficient and prompt.|A positive aspect is the availability of the room earlier than the standard time, given that many other top hotels are extremely inflexible in these situations, even without a specific justification.|A negative aspect is represented by the rather thin walls so that you can hear even the smallest noises from the neighboring rooms, creating a...
