Maybe THE WORST experiences in my over 25 years of travelling the world. I did not use the facilities of the hotel as I have been there just one night (thanks God), so I don't judge that but: the bed was very small (room with 2 single beds for me and my son), the mattress was made of I don't know what as it seemed to me like the ones from 60 years ago, filed with flocks of wool, and the same I can say for the pillow. No mini bar in the room, which I would have used to keep my drinks cold..nevertheless all of this is nothing if compared to the profund rudeness of the girl at the reception. As my car was partially blocked by another one, I kindly asked her to find the owner and ask to move the car so I could get out without any risk of damaging mine. She rudely did not want do that and I told her that if I would scratch my car they would pay as the parking is hotel responsibility. She called me ASSHOLE, (my son said she spoke in Russian), sure we would not understand. I would strongly suggest the owner to teach PR to this girl as she is facing customer who have their legitimate request, also considering the amount of money paid (totally unreasonable considering what my experience was). I will surely not use this hotel anymore and will strongly dissuade anyone who will ask me,...

It is small, quaint and family run yet quite difficult to find if you are not GPS savvy. This Hotel borders a military airfield and our room overlooked it. In fact we watched a large Helicopter landed around 22h00 that night and seriously the noise was non-existent due in large part to the windows and insulation. Our room was small but accommodated our luggage and bike gear adequately. The Bathroom had shower, basin area and toilet, with any the peripherals that tourists would need. During our two day stay, the breakfasts were good continental quality with a large offering and fresh fruit. The best for me was the natural full cream yoghurt, best of the trip. Suppers were varied and enjoyable. Our group of 40 met each evening outside and took over the small courtyard surrounding the small pool in a well kept garden. There is a tennis court [sand] at the end of the property. Again we did not use any of the hotel's facilities offered. We short stay...
Read moreThere is a lot to like about Hotel Marie-Luisa. But there is room for improvement.
Pros
Great location, Great price , very friendly, rooms are comfortable and good size. Cleaned daily, facilities in and around the garden and grounds are great and not common from my experience, fire pits , bbq facilities, pool, table tennis, wellness suite etc.
Areas for improvement
Tv in room I was in was tiny looked like an iPad attached to the wall, wall is huge and could easy hold a bigger TV, no air conditioning when regularly reaching over 30 degrees, fan was provided but at night fan too loud. Facilities on offer where good but equipment does not seem to have been maintained very well, chairs broken, pool full of dead bugs never seen it cleaned once. Balcony on top floor of main building has only one wonky table plenty room on balcony for at least one more seating area. Also wifi is a little unstable at times and lucky if getting 10...
