Penzion a Restaurace Šimanda — Hotel in Prague

Stayed here 2 nights end of June. |sat nav took me straight to the door, and I wouldn't fancy finding it without one.. free parking and it feels a very safe place to leave your car.||Receptionist spoke good English and was welcoming. My room was very good with a 2nd floor balcony view overlooking the lake it was, for £12 a night, brilliant value. Had no problems with the wi fi, shower was good although had to hold the shower head as no support attached to the wall!?!||One problem I had- at night was absolutely boiling so opened up balcony door to get some air in, but downstairs there was some sort of party going on with some pretty terrible singing! It was only 10 30 pm on a saturday so I couldn't be angry at friends enjoying their Weekend.. But just bare in mind that you are staying at the same premises as what appears to be the locals favourite bar.||As for getting into town, simple. The train station platform into Praha is literally under your feet as you exit the hotel! A return ticket cost 42 KC (80p at time of writing ) and there were 3 services per hour. 10 mins into the heart of Prague. Last train back to Prague at 2330 though bear in mind. The trams run all night but at least a 25min walk through unlit roads.||Didn't sample the pension beer or any food so can't pass comment. Sounds very energetic though as I mentioned previously, if this is your thing! ||Overall I would like to stay closer to Prague if visiting the city again.. and somewhere with air con in summer months. But if your on a budget, or you have a vehicle and need to stay outside the hectic city centre, I'd definetley recommend this place. Superb...

I am very happy that we have chosen this place. It's really great value for money. Not expensive accomodation in spacious, very clean rooms. Nice, big bathroom, also spotless. The guests have access to equipped kitchen, so you can prepare your meal there if you wish. Our room had a nice balcony with a lake view. Trains to Prague center (Masarykovo Nadrazi) depart each 30 minutes. You can buy tickets in train with no extra costs. We paid 37 czk for two adults (one way), which was much cheaper and much more convinient that travelling by car. Самое главное посоветовала бы я этот отель или нет. Так вот, смело выбирайте это место для проживания. Номер большой, в номере две кровати, тумбочки, диванчик, холодильник, телевизор, шкаф, собственно все необходимое. Есть общая кухня, где можно приготовить еду. Но посуду лучше помыть перед использованием. Конечно проверку ревизорро этот отель бы не прошёл, но достаточно чисто. Отель не маленький, но я никого ни разу не встретила из соседей. Было тихо, но внизу какой-то банкетный зал, где как-то до 9 вечера так играла музыка, что тряслись стены. Внизу есть ресторан, в котором вкусно и недорого. Расположение возле озера очень классное! Вид был шикарный. Отель находится прямо на остановке электрички, но это не мешает. От центра города 9 минут ровно. Стоимость проезда 21 крона, с вокзала Мазариково садитесь на поезд до станции Kolin , поезда каждые полчаса. Остановка Kyje. Очень домашний отель. Берите не пожалеете, за такие деньги прелестно.||||Из минусов: Меня ждал очень холодный приём) когда приехала двери отеля были закрыты, но почитав до этого отзывы пошла в дверь ресторана, там меня встретил седоволосый мужчина, который видимо не знает английский совсем !! Я пыталась ему объяснить, что заплачу завтра, когда деньги поменяю, а он мне все кэш или кард..при том весь такой нервный. В итоге со словами туморроу всучил мне ключ без слов. Куда идти , на какой этаж, что где... Это я выясняла сама. Такой холодный приём после дорогой дороги испортил настроение, так что будьте к этому готовы. Но сам отель компенсирует это.
