Kjobing Manor — Hotel in Ærø Municipality

The manor is central located which means near to all other services: the harbor and the ferry, the city hall, the restaurants, the shopping centre, and of course near to the library. Caution: One needs to pay carefully attention because the Manor and the library have the same house address the 18... That said, I Ioved the cleanness of this old modernized manor. The neatness of the decoration, the flowers... Nevertheless I found the fees for the room 5 expensive as it was said to be a Deluxe room: Bed linens could have be ironed. Instructions about how to get away with a the showers could be useful. It is really tricky as there are two shower-guns and one discovers how they function after unpleasant manipulations. The hard parts: no soap or gel holder in the shower curtains: one needs to grab it from outside the shower, sprayding the water on the floor. The other key point: clean the floor after the shower as it gets totally full of water and wet. And what to say about the wooden floor in the bedroom? It quirks all the time when one moves on... Despite all, in this month of February, it was warming to come back in our room after touring in the colorfull cold...

We stayed at Kjobing Manor for a couple of days, and we found ourselves wishing we could stay longer! I've never stayed anywhere where the atmosphere was this welcoming and cosy: we happened to be the only guests staying there, while some of the owner's family were staying in some of the other rooms, and they truly made us feel like we were part of the family as well. The shared spaces felt like our own, and it was lovely too to be able to sit in the really well kept, adorable garden and courtyard. Bad experience! They posted price wrong, I booked, was confirmed and 2 days after they contacted informing they was cancel the book. Anyone’s had responsibility for the error, in all conversations they don’t assume responsibility! The Island dont have so much options, I lose other better offerings...
